the pool at Seawind
by shohman
Why use a pool when you're on the most beautiful beach in the world? Consider this: across the street from Seawind resort you scale a long stairway and finally reach not one, but two beautiful pools, almost vacant, yet surround by beautiful plants, trees, and an herb garden. The pool alos has much shade, which is important as the beach gets very hot during the afternoon hours. The bonus, no kids! It's not that they aren't allowed, but the usually don't bother the climb when they have a perfectly good pool right outside their room.
BORACAY ISLAND

"The place to be..."
As seen in televisions, heard on the news, read on the daily newspapers...Boracay is a Paradise for most people who visited and lived there. I never thought in my whole life that it was possible for me to visit the place. It was indeed a blessing that I can say, it was a trip I will never forget.
Welcome and hope you enjoy reading the next chapters of my trip to BORACAY.
"How to get there?"
I live in Biñan, Laguna so my friends and I took the ferry boat Negros Navigation in Manila Pier and we got off at Caticlan Pier. We travelled Friday afternoon and got to Caticlan Saturday morning. The people are warm and friendly. To go to Boracay Island, you have to take the 10 minute boat ride which only costs Php 10. While waiting for that ride, there was an area for the travelers to relax and stay at an airconditioned room were we sat on the benchs while listening to the band of senior citizens playing classical "kundiman" songs.
"Sea Wind Resort, Station 1"
Boracay is divided into 3 stations, namely: Station 1,2 & 3. Station 1 you will find most of the first class hotels and restaurants. Its located is at the northern part of the beach. Station 2 is in the middle, ATM machines, restuarants, hotels, shopping stores, boutique & market are strategically found there. While Station 3 is the on the southern part of the beach where you can also find hotels, restaurants and the public market. Its near the station where boat ride is at in order to go back to the Caticlan Pier.
We stayed at the Sea Wind Resort located at Station 1. Its address is White Beach, Balabag, Boracay 5608 Philippines. If I were to rate the place and the food, I would give them 5 stars. The people are very warm and friendly. It made our stay in Boracay complete. I strongly recommend that you check out the place and try their services. They have conference rooms, gazibos, swimming pool and even a museum. It was really educational to visit the museum.
Our trip to Boracay was very relaxing and its worth every cent. I would love to go back someday. Boracay, see you soon!
I hope you enjoyed reading this page and hopefully you too can share your experience with us on your visit to BORACAY ISLAND.

Hi, Sirenna, you helped me last year to find hotel near station 1, and we are coming back to Boracay this year. Love the island. However, want to stay at SeaWind again, but can't get in touch with them. Do you by any chance know the reservation email address of SeaWind? Thanks a ton!

Someone else just told me they have had trouble contacting Seawind recently. Is their website out of action? I will try to get some info for you.

Their website at http://www.seawindbora.com/ seems to be nonfunctional. Their nameserver is listed as NS1083@dizinc.net, and that is online. It looks like either their nameserver registration entry has a problem or (more likely) their home page or their hosting provider have a problem.
The email address I have for them is seawind@pacific.net.ph, phone +63-2-416-4010, 924-0995, +63-36-288-3091, fax +63-2-416-4011, 415-1285, +63-36-288-3425. I would just refer you to boracayinfo.net for this info, but they're not a subscriber and display of nonsubscriber info there is suppressed.
