At the action's doorstep
Villa de Oro is one of the reasonably priced beachfront hotels in the island. In Boracay where a beachfront hotel is a must making it a prized commodity, I was surprised that our double room with A/C, own T/B, and inclusive of breakfast cost us only P1500 a night. Aside from the standard rooms, it also has Bali-inspired cottages.
The hotel is also at the threshold of the famed Boracay nightlife being a short walking distance to bars, restos, and D'Mall. Likewise, a few minutes walk on the opposite direction is Talipapa souvenir shops.
Unique Quality: The hotel's restaurant, built with native materials, faces the west giving the early diners a good view of Boracay's sunset.
