Can You Relax or Party at Station 1?
by david_e_carMAN about Station 1 General Advice
Looks like you already have come and gone to Boracay, however, this might help some others travel here. For June & July it is the low or lean season in Boracay and you can get a beach front from for 2,000 to 3,000 pesos. Mito's place is nice, they have a room with a 32' LCD, Air Conditioning, Hot Water, and a large bathroom for 2,500 pesos and it's on the beach. There are a lot of hotels to choose from on station 1 ranging from 2,000 pesos up (to 15,000!).
Station 1 is pretty big and it ranges from the somewhat secluded places like Fridays and Waling Waling (due to thier prices well above 2,000 pesos!) to the hotel above. The high priced places are typically further away from shopping, restaurants and bars. Check a the hotel website to see the location, D-mall is a a good entertainment center with a lot to choose from. Station 1 starts just after D-mall, however it goes on for a few Kilometer (3km I think). If you want more action stay closer to D-mall, so you don't have a 15-20 minute hike to hang out at a bar besides the one at the hotel. If seclusion is what your looking for, the hgh priced places are your better option.
Frendz looked like more of a hostel to me, than a hotel. If I wanted to get the whole room with 5 beds it would be 2,000 (400 pesos per bed), as they sell bedspace and not rooms. But, I didn't need five beds and would rather be on the beach with one queen size bed. I don't know about Boracay Plaza as I haven't seen it and don't know where it is.
Hope you had a great time in Boracay, it's a buetiful and fun place!

Waling Waling Cabanas. :-)
by earthboundfaerie
Oh and btw, last time I checked, anyone can stay at the lovely cabanas in front of Waling Waling and I absoultely loved those and was wondering if you can still do that? Or atleast have a meal there and how a cabana can be reserved? :)

My guess would be that you should contact Waling Waling and ask them.

Last time I was there, it seemed to OK to use the cabanas if you were eating/drinking. This may not be the case now though, so it's best to check.
