White House Boracay (2)

Their super deluxe room is housed in the 2nd building, on the 2nd floor - this gives you a balcony, but the view is that of the resort next door.
It has 2 beds, 1 double and 1 single. A tv with DVD player. Walk in closet and bathroom of course. When we checked in, the staff has kindly put our bags in the walk in closet. Upon entering the room, we were greeted by the sweet scent of lemon grass and eucalyptus from their aromatherapy set on their side table.

The very beautiful manager of the resort Amanda Tirol has kindly upgraded us (aside from the Deluxe to the Super Deluxe room) to their premier Beach House Suite. It is located fronting the pool with a veranda where their swings are. Great view of the beach (if not boarded up). The room has 3 beds: 2 single beds, facing the door; 1 double bed facing the windows.
The lower beach house has it's own dining tables, ref (not a mini one), cooking stove, sink, bar and living area.
Outside the house, is the twin swings facing the pool and a couch (no pics - i forgot to take some)

Stayed here for my Boracay trip with my cousin Mike. It was his first time and he clearly told me to book a resort at a quiet part of the beach, some place where he can bum around. He was the one who actually chose to stay here.
The rooms were great, and since it was off season, the very beautiful manager upgraded our rooms from Deluxe (2 single beds) to Super Deluxe (1 double bed and 1 single bed).
The only complaints I had was the mosquitos and even if i was under the comforter, i was still bitten. But this isn't about the hotel but with the weather when we got there I think..
Over all, I'd love to come back here and I recommend this as a mid-priced resort in Station 1. There are several to this resort:
1. Cabanas - which was a big selling point for me. Even though we stayed there on an off season (July 2006), the front of the beach was boarded up.
2. Swimming Pool - the deepest part is about 4.5 feet, right under the mini water fall
3. Location - in the quiet area, north of Station 1. Very near the Seawind resort. The resort on their left is Sur Boracay, on their right is a private resort of the Brent International School
4. John the Barman - he tends the bar (Wetlands), very friendly, very helpful!
5. Amanda the Manager - she was very very accomodating :)

Seeking for another advise re WHITE HOUSE
by pinkdot
Hi again.
Finally decided to stay at WHITE HOUSE BORACAY. I'm just having one last difficulty on which place to stay at -- at SUPER DELUXE or at the COTTAGE? heard from the reviews that SUPER DELUXE has no beach front views because the nipa huts kinda block the view. But is the cottage beach front? Are there differences pa in which cottage to choose? hoping for your advise again.
Again, many, many thanks!

their cottage accomodation is across the main road.
super deluxe is nearer the beach.
Accommodations for a group of ten persons and three kids
by PETUNIA415
Can anyone suggest a place or a villa/house which can accommodate a group of ten adults and 3 kids? We prefer a place with at least 2 bathrooms, airconditioning, beachfront would be nice but not a must as long as it is accessible to and from the beach. Kitchen/living room would be welcomed too. Thanks for your help.

Boat Drop-off Points
by barubal
Hi,
We will be in Boracay from June 25-27, I just would like to know if the boat still drops-off passengers to stations 1, 2, & 3? Also, are the currents strong? We are tugging along our 7-month old son so our worry is that he might get afraid of the boat ride.
Thanks in advance.

yes, there are still 3 drop-off points along the white beach.

better to check with your resort. was advised by my resort (white house boracay) that drop off points may be at cabangan (?) and they can just fetch me there. :)

It depends on the weather. When the western coast is windy, you'll be dropped off at Bulabog or Tambisaan on the other side of the island. Cagban port may also be used.
Don't worry about getting down with your son - the boatmen are always ready to lend a hand.
