Wassenaar Beach Resort: Quality place for quality times

If you will explore Tangalan's hidden secrets, I recommend that you stay in Wassenaar beach resort. People here are very accommodating and friendly. Service is great as well! They have clean swimming pool, billiards, conference hall, picnic cottages, videoke and beach house. I love this place because if you feel lazy, you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the ocean breeze.

From Kalibo, ride a tricycle and tell the tricycle driver to bring you to the Jeepney terminal going to Tangalan. The fare is Php 8.00 each or special price of Php 10.00. On the Jeepney terminal, tell the driver to drop you off to the tricycle terminal going to Barangay Jawili. Fare is Php 20.00 each. On the tricycle terminal, tell the driver to drop you off to Wassenaar beach resort. They know already the place. The fare from the terminal to Wassenaar is Php 16.00 each. You can also ask the tricycle to have a special trip and pay Php 120.00 - 150.00. On the fare prices, you need not to worry if you will be overpriced because people of Tangalan and Kalibo are honest people and will not give you overpriced amount.

The place has great beach view on the second floor. An overnight stay on this place is not enough. I recommend that you stay 3 days or more because if you are done with all the activities that you have to do, enjoying the ocean breeze is simply relaxing!

By the way, the place also have it's own restaurant that has reasonable prices. Food is cooked per order. So, it is better to order in advance. Since it is cooked per order, the food is fresh as well as the taste is good!

But if you are craving for junk foods, crackers, or bread, it would be better if you bring your own because the place is very far from any stores.
