Sleep-Easy Lodging House: Place to stay in Tabaco
The place is small but the the staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. They offer rent a car service, laundry and pressing service, air and land booking and reconfirmation, tourist information and an internet cafe with wi-fi connection. Unfortunately I don't think they have a restaurant.
Room rates:
Classic (semi-double bed, aircon, cable tv and shower) Php 850 (2pax)
Deluxe (semi-double bed, aircon, cable tv, h/c shower and mini balcony) Php 1050 (2pax)
- don't expect too much view from the balcony :p
Unique Quality: The location very strategic. The place is in the center of Tabaco but not near the main road so it is quiet and just around the corner are the banks, the church, the town plaza, food establishments, grocery, drug store and most especially the stalls selling the native products (shopping area!!). Everything is just walking distances from each other.

Costa Palmera resort: Warm and cozy resort at base of Mayon
Arrangements to stay at the resort has been made with the very friendly owner, Chat. Despite a wedding on site she personally has to attend to, she found time to help me with travel/tour requests. The resort and gardens are impeccably maintained. The standard rooms are basic though at P880 and P990. If splurging is your thing, the poolside residences are the best place to stay at P2700+ a night.
Resort is along the black beaches of the Albay gulf, with direct beautiful view of Mayon. The resort is also ideal to take off for island hopping to nearby Cagraray, Batan and Rapu-rapu islands.
Independent boat and land tours can be arranged with the resort.

Vista Al Mayon Pensionne: Legaspi's Well-known Accomodation
We stayed for a night, charging us P1800. It has 2 double beds, aircon, TV & bath. The room is a bit small that we had a hard time moving around. It has a small patio with table & chairs. Swimming pool is popular for night swimming. Huge parking area.
Unique Quality: Nice swimming pool.
