along sabang beach: rooms for rent

there are numerous hotels and resorts lined up along sabang beach. i have read a lot about bay's inn, but personally, i was disappointed when i saw the room. it was old and sparsely-furnished. i could live with that, but it was also smelly and stuffy. room rates are 400-900 depending on the capacity, aircon or fan, with or without tv. bahia de baler is a better alternative, while amco is the only resort with a swimming pool. their overnight rate is 700 pesos for airconditioned rooms with tv. i'd personally recommend looking for lodges/ inns owned privately by locals and being rented out to tourists for 500 a night (aircon with tv). you can haggle with the price especially during off-peak seasons. the rooms are newer and nicer and has a more homey feel to it.

most of the resorts/ rooms for rent/ hotels are located just in front of the beach. you don't need an airconditioned room because baler is a cool place, and on the beachfront, the winds are very strong. at night, you can let the crashing of the waves lull you to sleep.

Bahia de Baler: Best Choice in Baler

Rooms are clean and comfortable with a small terrace and table with chairs outside the room. There is also a cable TV, in room Phone and hot and cold water. Downside is that they have ceased operating their restaurant although room service is available with just a few choices in the menu. Beach front location with nice views during sunrise.

Bahia de Baler: continuation:

The rooms: you can choose from *Single, *Twin, *Family or * Group rooms where we stayed for 1 overnight stay.

Single & Twin rooms are both 1,200 pesos per night for pick seasons. Non- pick season 800 pesos only.
Family room is 2,000 pesos per night
Group Room (for 10 person) is 2,500 pesos per night

They had clean bathrooms and bedrooms, spacious and air-conditioned room with cable T.V. for relaxation. I guarantee you that since we’re stayed here for 1 night. We are satisfied and if ever we came back in Baler we are going to stay on the same place for sure.

They had round-the-clock service and security at night for our own safety.

Bahia de Baler: more tips:

Try to see first the place or the room your going to rent for your own satisfaction. In Sabang Beach they had plenty of transient & rooms for rent for you to stay for the longest time you want to stay. The prices are reasonable and affordable for back packers. You can also bring your tent if you like to sleep on it… I think it is safe since we haven’t heard any burgles around the place.

Bahia de Baler Resort Garden: best place in Baler

Bahia de Baler is an idyllic place not only for surfer and beach bums but also for family vacationers, honeymooners and adventure-seekers alike. An excursion to the beach here also means delights, entertainment, comfortable accommodation, friendly service and a host of water and land activities for you.

The place has bar and restaurant can accommodate 150 guest, banquets, conference and seminars but it is likewise ideal for small meetings and private parties. It also boasts of a bar, a welcoming dance floor, and a stage always open to karaoke singers, amateurs and revelers.
