reasonable room rate
The hotel is very nice and affordable compared to other rooms , the room is clean and the food is great.

Nice on the beach!
Nice place! rigth on the beach and fantastic view. if you are looking for a peacful place to hang out this is it. The hotel here is very accomadating. The beach is right there.

Very Nice Place
Enjoyed our stay here, right on the beach, quiet, comfortable, clean room. Good bath, hot water. Restaurant ok, but again, right on the beach.
Negatives - lots of seaweed on the beach right in front of the resort, they clean it in the am, but by midday its back
No Wifi, internet cafe - that was only open an hour over the three days I was there.

Surprisingly Nice
The resort was surprisingly nice. Atmosphere is clean and cozy. Literally on the beach. As we stepped out of the room/building the sea was in front of us. Nicest beachfront along Alona Beach. Has a cute inviting pool. Book the deluxe air con rooms as they are nicer, more comfortable and with hot water. Water pressure is good. Restaurants and bars are a short walk away. Clean and safe compound.
Unique Quality: Nicest beachfront. Restaurants and bars are 3-5 minutes walk away. Safe to leave stuff inside and outside the rooms. Centrally located.

Alona's Beautiful Resort
Alona Tropical Beach Resort has pleasant, quiet, well-maintained resort at the east end of the beach. The garden is beautifully laid out. Noticeably friendly service. Very good, popular restaurant. Diving. Cottage/fan/bath P800 and P1200, SR/DR/ac/bath P1800.

Alona Beach Top Resort
Alona Palm Beach Resort is very attractively designed resort with comfortably furnished rooms in villas, all with refrigerator, TV and terrace. The best accommodation on Alona Beach. Restaurant. Big swimming pool with bar. SR/DR/ac/bath P5700/6000; including breakfast.

Consistently Clean and Comfortable
We got consistent recommendations to stay at Alona Palm Beach Resort. The rooms are much larger than most. You can fit 2 extra single beds inside with plenty of leg room and the bathrooms are quite large and spacious too. Lots of closet space and free internet. We were told that the food here was the best of all and Alona Palm did not disappoint. They have an extensive menu (even a great fondue) and a children's menu as well. Wine selection not great but guests can bring their own wine without corkage. Alona Palm Beach Resort is located on Panglao Island on Alona Beach. Not the best beach I've been to in the Philippines though. Service was good. The front desk handled everything including transportation and tour arrangements as well as in room massages. You can dine in their dining room or by the pool - which is a nice option. The hotel offers mini golf and ping pong but it looked pretty sad. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay here. Do ask for a room facing the pool - nicer view
Unique Quality: The pool is quite big and clean. The rooms are very spacious - more so than most of the hotels in the area. Food quality is consistent, expansive and good. Noticed that many guests eating there came from other resorts. This resort is generally a little more upscale than the other hotels in the area.

Great Budget Beachfront
S uch an amazing place to stay the beach is really good perfect spot to do sunbathe. Very quite and serene which is good place to relax and enjoyed the hit of the sun, white sand and the views. Great place to spend holidays with your love ones, families and friends. They also have swimming pool if you feel swimming there. Since all rooms near of the pool are occupied we stayed at the natives’ style rooms and proximity to the beach which is really cool. .I can tell this is the best budget hotel to stay in Pangalo Island.
Unique Quality: T he room price is good, good service, workers are friendly and the morning, afternoon view is perfect and its really quite at night plus not crowded. They also have swimming pool and the natives style beachfront rooms are cute...

Pricey but amazing!
The Alona Palm Beach Resort in Panglao Island, Bohol, is ithink, the best hotel in Panglao Island. It's quite pricey, but worth it. The resort is actually made up of individual villas surrounded by lush greens. Each villa is well maintained, with hints of thai architechture. The villas have their own huge bathrooms and a bedroom overlooking the gardens, or the beach, whichever you prefer. There's a lanai with a ceiling fan so you can plop down on the bamboo lounge chairs outside while smoking or writing down your blog. Inside the rooms, the beds are comfy and can fit 3 people. Airconditioning is strong, and the rooms are well maintained. YOu also have your own safe box inside the cabinets. All in all, the rooms are superb.
Unique Quality: Outside, the gardens are well maintained and the eternity pool is well kept.... Alona Palm also has the largest beachfront in all of the resorts at Alona beach. We walked to the other resorts and all of them paled in comparison to Alona Palm. Theirs looked crappy...LOL.

Stayed for 5 nights and it offered what we were looking for - comfortable room w/ balcony, hot and cold shower, more private beach area and quieter than if you are in the middle of the strip. I wouldn't consider it as a destination resort.

We stayed there before and wanted to stay there again last week but it was fully booked. I would not have second thoughts in recommending this resort. Great location, clean rooms and surroundings, friendly staff.

Thanks for the reply. I have made a reservation with them through e-mail and they confirmed and told me to reconfirm 15 days before.
Is it normal that they don't ask for a deposit or somehting? I sure hope than an email confirmation from their side is enough!
