The place is so stunning! I love the infinity pool, the food and the hotel rooms. There are also stand alone villas for familyand it's filipino design makes it more perfect for sub tropical getaway.
The man made small islet in front of the hotel will catch your attention. There is a nipa hut cottage to use only for in-house guest.
This hotel is just 20 minutes away from the City center of Tagbilaran reachable by Taxi. They also have airport shuttle service to and from the airport for 500 pesos per way.

One of Bohol's finest
A resort I would highly recommend for those who want to relax and have privacy - without splurging that much money. A 30-minute drive from Tagbilaran airport. Unlike resorts located at Alona stretch, Panglao Island Nature resort is situated way farther and the only resort around the vicinity. They even have a small cave inside the resort with deep waters - ideal for those who want a mini adventure without leaving the area. They have golf carts that would bring you to your room for those who opt not to walk - though the rooms from the reception area is near, about less than a minute walk. Room was very clean and spacious. Food was great especially during breakfast. They serve buffet meals and they even allowed us to convert our buffet lunch into packed lunch as we went on island hopping. In this resort, you will definitely get what you pay for.
Unique Quality: One thing I liked about this resort is the pathway going to the mini island on the beach. It has a hammock where you can relax during the mid-afternoon or any time of the day. This pathway is only visible during low tide. The pool was average, an infinity pool but nothing fancy. It has 2 whirlpool on each end and a swim up bar. They have a mini game area near the pool where one could play billiards, ping-pong, darts, etc.

Panglao
If you're looking for a nice place to stay....better go to Panglao Beach Resort or nearby resorts. We didnt have enough time to check good resort to stay, anyways, we checked-in to one of the resorts in Panglao with Php3500.00 per room that can accomodate 7-8 peeps...the place was nice except for the water for bath...it's salty and a bit itchy on skin, and the food is expensive. Two nearby resorts, though a bit expensive, are the best place to stay in.

Bohol's best resort
Such a lovely resort. Can easily hold its ground with some of the most expensive resorts in the Philippines such as El Nido (Lagen Island), Club Paradise, Club Noah Isabelle, Dos Palmas, etc. As expected, it's quite expensive. We stayed at the bungalow which has its own outdoor jacuzzi for P10,000 a day inclusive of buffet breakfast and dinner for two. But the food prices are reasonable enough for such a first class place. You can also rent a dvd and player for P50 a day and playstation or x box for P100/hr. The infinity pool with its warm water is so tempting and definitely the most beautiful i've seen so far. PINR also offers day tours for P350 and P250 during weekends and weekdays, respectively. The amount is consumable so it's not really very heavy on the pocket. The resort staff is very courteous and helpful but booking a room from manila could really test one's patience. But don't expect a nice stretch of beach coz there's hardly any and the water is full of seaweeds. but there's plenty of white sand though. It would have been better if PINR would put hammocks to make the stay of visitors more relaxing.

An excellent resort
Staying in this hotel is highly recommended. The service is excellent and the food is great. There is an islet in the middle which is also good for taking some photos. The beach may be a bit weedy / rocky, but is excellent for snorkelling. You need not go farther to take a peek at Nemo. The sand is also powdery white.
The bungalow rooms are also very cool. They are overlooking the beach, and each even has its own jacuzzi. The only offset is the restroom is located outside the bungalow.

Panglao Island Nature Resort Photo: Look how thin I was...those were the days!
Most of the resorts on Panglao Island are on one part of the island. However, this resort is on the other end by its lonesome. Although the beach is not so great, they have a floating island where you can go to sunbathe or swim! They have a great floating island and wonderful bungalows!
Bohol Resorts' Best
by raqda about Panglao Island Nature Resort
It was relatively new when we went there so the facilities are really clean, though some are still ongoing construction completion like the 2nd infinity pool and the man-made island.
Very ideal for honeymooners beacuse of the ambiance and if you get the Bungalow (accommodation), you have an outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the sea! It has it's own underground cave (Cambagat) where you can swim in clear, cold water. Tour is inclusive in their accommodation package and comes with a guide and life vests (should you want to swim).
A Business Hotel
by crazydigger about MetroCentre Hotel
This is the newest hotel in Bohol. It's actually a business hotel. The standard rooms are quite cramped and there are no windows! We upgraded to a Superior Room. What's great about this hotel is that it has special packages with a resort in Panglao Island and they have a 24-hour convenience store with regular grocery prices!

Panglao Island Nature Resort

is there any restaurants near this place? Because I'm planning to stay here (i'm getting the package from Philippine Airlines, it's cheaper comapre if I buy separate airfare and separate lodging), but I don't know if the food here is expensive or not, I don't even know if it's delicious or not.
Also, Alona Beach is public beach, right? Because I heard that beach in panglao island nature resort is not that good, so i might go to the public beach instead.
thanks.

i think panglao island nature resort is on the other side of the island. you might have to take an expensive van ride to get to alona beach.
