Bohol Beach Club: Premier Beach Resort At Panglao

We didn't book at Bohol Beach Club for overnight stay, but one can use its facilities like the kidney-shaped pool amid the lush greenery and the outdoor jacuzzi by paying P350 (price could have been changed by now) for Day Tour. The amount of P250 is a consumable.

Bohol Beach Club has exclusive rights to 1 1/2 kilometer stretch of white sand, said to be the largest shoreline in that area. There are elevated outposts so security guards can see who are trespassing into their shoreline. If you happen to be seen by a strict guard, you'll be asked to get a Day Tour Pass to swim in their beach area. Some guards are friendly, they wouldn't mind you swiiming or strolling on their beach during sunset.

It also has an awesome view of the sunset.

Dumaluan Beach Resort 2: Next Best Thing To Bohol Beach Club

We stayed at Dumaluan Beach Resort2 in Panglao Island. My relatives stayed there and vouched for their good time, so their comments allayed our fears and ambivalence caused by unpleasant feedback given by some people in the forum. My family loved the place; it has a wide beachfront with live starfish in the shallow waters.

We would recommend our relatives and friends to stay there. On our next Bohol trip, we intend to return there because for less the price, we had the same white,powdery sand beach of nearby Bohol Beach Club.

The facilities and amenities in the Family Room in the new building were okay. We had comfortable beds, really cold airconditiong unit, big bathroom, good food though quite expensive, generally friendly staff. They have a swimming pool and mini-zoo, too. It is also near the Bohol Beach Club where we strolled to view the sunset.

Alona Palm Beach Resort: Luxurious + Excellent service

I did not stay there but my sister did, 3 times. She vouches for the service in this resort. The staff seem to anticipate your needs and are readily available. The food is also good (see pictures). It's more expensive than the average resort in Panglao but they only have 12 cabanas and it ensures you have privacy and attention when you want it. They're always fully-booked so reserve early.

Lost Horizon Resort: Nice and clean

Stayed here in May 2003. Nice clean rooms. The design and furnishing are simple.

alona Palm beach resort: Nice location and kind stuf

Right by the beach. The place is clean and well kept.
We felt the food in the restaurant was a bit pricy compared to the rest of the restaurants by the beach, the trouth is that this hotel is the best in the area.
If you are not staying here but want to use the facilities, you can rent a hamac and their shower for a relatively cheap price 3$ a day. I suggest you go early since they get rented fast.

it is a pleasent inn. the motorcycles and jeepnys will wake you up early in the morning. however the rooms are big and clean.
