The rooms are air condtioned, with beds, closet and bathroom. The rooms are spacious and the biggest one I have seen so far in Alona Beach. A dive shop is within its compound. it does not have a restaurant but there are 3 restaurants beside Aquatica.
The rate is P1,800.00 a day.

Playa Blanca is one of the pioneer resorts in Alona Beach. Its main building was razed by fire in the 1990's and only the cottages remain. there are about 5 duplex cottages made of bamboo and other native materials. With the main building in front gone, there is a wide open space in front of the cottages.
Each room has the basic facilities like beds, closet, small table and a bathroom. It has air conditioning unit but you can specify whether you will use it or not. If you will choose it, the caretaker will open the switchboard and you will be charged with higher rate. It has a terrace where you can do some reading or simply appreciate the sea.
It is a very quiet place, the place is clean and the rate is very reasonable.
During peak reason the rate is P600/day if you will not use the aircon and P1,500/day if you will. During off season, you can haggle and you can get the room for P400/day and P1,000/day with aircon. Alona Kew Beach Resort is the most popular in Panglao Island. It is located in the middle of Alona beach and the beside the mandatory final stop of all motor vehicle. For the first timer without prior reservation at Panglao, Alona Kew is the first resort he will see. It has a good restaurant and I always take my brewed coffee therein. Just accross the resort is the Tourist Information Center.
The non aircon rooms are on the two story structure near the beach front. The duplex type cottages are aircon rooms. the concrete stairs will lead you to the upper part of the resort where the executive rooms and the swimming pool are located.
the non aircon rooms are smaller, with two single beds, a closet and a bathroom. It has a terrace with a small table and a chair. The rate is P800.00 a day.
The aircon rooms are bigger, almost the same size as those in Alona Tropical. The rate is P1,800 a day.

Bohol Diver's Resort is not only for divers and it is open to all tourists. For those into diving, it has a large dive shop.
The rooms are more of the basic type with bed, closet and bathroom. There are rooms located at the beach front, the de luxe rooms are located in the garden and the executive ones are located near the front gate. .
The room rates per day:
P800 - 1000 for rooms with fan
P1,600 for aircon rooms
P3,000-5,000 for villa and chalet types
It has 2 swimming pools, a bar by the beach, an elevated big restaurant which has a good view of the sea. Staying at the Alona Tropical Resort is always a pleasant experience. It has a a quiet surrounding. It shares the beach front with Alona Palm Beach Resort, thus the beach is ideal for swimming and other family activities. Most of rooms are made from bamboo and nipa hut with single beds, chairs and tables, ample closet and big bathroom.
It has a swimming pool which is located near the executive rooms of the resort.
There are two access points to this resort, one is the Ester Lim Street entrance which closes at 11 pm and the beach front.
The room rates per day:
P800 - 1,100 for room with fan
1,800 -2,100 for aircon room
2,500 - 3,600 for family room
It has good beach and the sand is regularly combed. Located at the tip of the eastern side of Alona Beach, Crystal Coast is one of the biggest seaside resorts in the area. It is close to 3 hectares atop the clifff overlooking the white sand beach of Alona. A seaside resort with an access stair which will lead you to the beach.
You may choose either apartelle type rooms or cabana type. The rooms are big with basic amenities like bed, chairs, table, bathroom. The lawn is spacious, the round shaped restaurant has good view of the sea and it has children's playground. It has its own swimming pool.
There are two ways to reach Crystal Coast, namely: 1. Through Ester Lim Street where the end of such street will bring you to the main gate of Crystal Coast; and 2. The beachfront where you have to use the access stair.
Room rates range from P1,500 to P4,000.
If you want a more secluded sea side resort, away from the tourist milling the beach and a vantage point to view the whole stretch of Alona Beach, Crystal Coast is the place. For those who want a more peaceful place to stay in a beachfront resort, you can check out the de luxe rooms with garden view of Bohol Diver's Resort. The first time I stayed in Bohol Diver's, I chose the room beside the beach. The second time, I opted for a different surrounding, stayed in the garden view room and I did not regret it. I woke up in a very serene place, a nice garden and a good view of the sea.
The garden view rooms are of native cottage type, like those in Alona Tropical. From the beach, there is a concrete stair which will lead you to the garden. We stayed at La Residencia. The la residencia is the best accommodation in Divers resort. Bungalow type, airconditioned room with private swimming pool for the residents of the La Residencia only (no person can use the swimming except those who accommodated the La Residencia).
Located at upper part ng hotel but still 2 minute walk only to the beach. The accommodation is complete with cooking equipment, kitchen utensils and mineral water. Visitors of La Residencia is provided with private “yaya” or housekeeper who will answer your need if ever you want anything during your stay at the La residencia for free.
The walls of the bungalow is made of glass (full view of garden and swimming pool). The room is airconditioned and also has cable television, private bath tub with hot and cold shower, and refrigerator. The room is big and comfortable for 5 pax. The bungalow has extension room with door (intended for the kids). 2 pax can stay at the extension room.
The resort hotel has mini bar/coffee shop and diving shop.

Having a group of 6, the family rooms (there are 3) at Isis Bungalows are spacious enough for us. The family rooms are at the 2nd floor level giving a commanding panoramic view of the sea at the center of Alona Beach strip. We were able to have the prime room fronting the beach having a wider view of the beach as compared to the inner 2 family rooms.
For twin sharing accomodations, the 4 smaller rooms at the ground floor with guaranteed beach view are of the same set-up.
The airconditioned family room costs P4800 per night inclusive of breakfasts.
The place is newly built which explains the satisfaction we had of the cleanliness of the rooms (specially the very spacious T&B) and the furnishings, linens included.
The rooms have wide glass windows and sliding doors that when the curtains are curled at the side, the feeling is of being in one with the sea/beach setting. You bet, it is very relaxing. Cant help to wish that time should stand still.
Before I forget, the place is wi-fi ready and offered free for guests. Rooms are provided with cable tv enough to tame the kids during rest time.
