The owner is British. Unfortunately no swimming pool as yet and they only have 12 rooms. The standard of the accommodation however was excellent, could not be faulted, hot water clean and modern rooms. They also have a really nice tranquil garden area. The staff told us they have plans to extend Paragayo Resort next year.

If you are looking for an alternative to Boracay, then Panglao Island is it! The beaches, the sand and the fun and sun are as good as Boracay; but it is half as crowded and half the price. More and more people know about Boracay because it is heavily more publicized however Panglao Island is slowly getting there, travellers far and wide are putting the word out that Panglao is a exotic Island paradise.

Panglao's Best Budget Accomodation

Paragayo Resort is not a beachfront resort; it’s located along the main road opposite the entry road to Alona Beach. The beach area is just a 3 minute walk from the resort. What’s excellent about this place is, since it’s not located along Alona Beach, the place is quiet day and night. This place is beautiful. The landscaping is great and since there are a lot of plants, it’s very relaxing to stay here. Even if you sit outside your room or take a seat in one of the native chairs in the garden, the air is cool and the place has a lot of shaded areas. There’s also a bar and an internet café. The resort is not five stars but you get the best value for your money. The rooms are adequately sized and clean. There is air conditioning and a fan in every room. The bathrooms are working fine, big and clean. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. They clean the rooms and replace towels or toilet papers on a daily basis. The other guests in the resort are mostly tourists from other countries and are friendly. We enjoyed our stay in this resort and will still stay here again in the future.

Affordable Resort

Visited Bohol and was shocked at the cost of accommodation eventually discovered a new budget resort recently opened Panglao Paragayo Resort? Great accommodation fan room was only 700 peso Aircon was around 900 Paragayo Resort is located at Rona’s corner directly opposite the entrance to Alona Beach . Have been to Panglao many times and Resort prices have gone up significantly due to its popularity so it was nice to find somewhere pleasant and affordable and close to the Beach you can find it at
