Caramoan Bed And Dine: Homestay with Food

It’s a hometel in the town proper of Caramoan. Their price is cheaper than the other places to stay there. If you are on a budget Bed And Dine is a good place to stay. The more number you have in a group the cheaper it will get. Since we were only two, we paid 3680 pesos for our three days two nights’ accommodation.

The hosts are very kind and accommodating people. Most of all, their foods were superb. I think I gained weight because of the delicious pinoy foods they cooked for us. It was far from the ports though. But part of the accommodation is a free tricycle service to the ports so it’s not really a problem. All in all, Caramoan Bed And Dine is a budget friendly, comfortable, highly recommended place to stay.

Caramoan Bed And Dine has a very good accommodation. The room is air conditioned with shower. They also offer breakfast, lunch and dinner inclusive of the accommodation pay. Their food is very delicious. They are even in charge of the island tour.

BED & DINE Hometel CARAMOAN: Best Recommended Place to Stay in Caramoan

It was my Mahal's birthday on February 3rd that instead of going to Tagaytay the next day,we suddenly jump into an unplanned Vacation to Caramoan.
We look up in sulit the cheapest hotel to stay and we came accross Bed&Dine Hometel.
Without any hesitation we called the number we saw on their website and spoke to Kuya Alan(the owner).
It was my hubby's first time to be in bicol so I wanted him to be please. On our way,I was praying that the B&D hometel we chose will not fail us.
What was amazing is that Kuya Alan was very prompt in replying to our text messages, that made us so at ease and comfortable already.
From Naga Bus Terminal we rode a van to sabang port and from sabang port we were fetch by Kuya Willy (the staff driver of the B&D Hometel), 30minutes b4 arrival,Kuya Willy was already waiting there in advance at the port, me and my Mahal was very pleased seeing our name on written on a piece of paper held by Kuya Willy looking for us among the Ferry Passengers. He was very friendly.
Arriving at the Hometel we were greeted by the owner himself (very accomodating),he showed us our room and was told that our lunch is ready(it was just on time coz we are already hungry bec of the long hours travel).
The facilities of the Hometel I can say is very good enough for its rate. Airconditioned room, queensize bed, cable tv,cr and shower. when we enter that room,we were amazed by its cleanliness
The food servings are overwhelming and its very fresh and yummy :),my Mahal loved it.
After lunch nag island hopping na kami,(i forgot the name of the boatman) they were very nice and friendly too.
We really enjoyed Island hopping and at 4:30pm we were fetch by Kuya Willy again back to B&D then we ate dinner.
After dinner we had the chance to chitchats with Kuya Alan, it was fun talking to him,he was very professional and kind.
and the next morning after breakfast time to go home, hinatid na kami ni Kuya Willy back to Guijalo port after we went to church and bought souveiners downtown.
we will surely come back here with our friends next year.

ALL IN ALL,the owner the staff are very professional and accomodating. If you want to see the real attitude of a nice friendly bicolano, come and dine at B&D Hometel.
The place is simple yet you can feel away from stressful environment.

BC Hometel

We were very very disappointed with this "so called" HOMETEL. The woman who arranged the trip was a rip-off!!!! She promised that somebody was gonna pick us up and that the food would be ready by the time we reach the hotel and she told us that there would be a reserved room for us. BUT ALL OF THESE ARE ***!!!!!!!!! SHE WAS EVEN ***IN' THAT THEY WERE SO TIRED AND HAVEN'T EATEN THEIR BREAKFAST!! WTF!! Is this what you call GOOD SERVICE?? The place is nice, but it's worthless if they have bad service..... Please don't make any arrangements with this ***!!.... This place is a RIP-OFF!!!! I strongly DON'T recommend this place.......

No great qualities at all....

BC Hometel: BC Hometel Sucks

I am a Bikolana and i really love travelling. This holy week, i decided to bring my family to Caramoan for the first time. I made advance booking for 2 rooms to BC Hometel through its proprietor Fely Belleza and made advance payment as well. I also made arrangements with them to pick us up from the port, food and boat. On the day of the Caramoan travel, i texted and tried to call them several times to inform that we are already at the Sabang port so they will know what time to pick us up. None of the calls and texts were answered. When we arrived at the port, nobody was there to pick us up. So we have to find our own transportation to go to BC Hometel. To add up to the huge disappointment of the poor service, BC hometel informed us that they did not prepare our food and make reservations for the boat. No apologies was received and she was blaming us because she is not having her breakfast yet. We waited for almost 2 hours and still no food. This is the worst vacation i had!!!! Its a sad thing that it happened to my own province. I really don't know if i can still recommend Caramoan a place to visit if there are people like Fely Belleza. We decided to go home on that same day.

West Pen: Best of the "West"

West Pen is the best place to stay in Caramoan, having a 5-star like accommodation, service and food, a humble island could offer. Sir Joenard and Jessie are only two of the many staff that have been very helpful to our short trip.

West Pen offers very nice cabanas that are very cozy and clean... A highly recommended hotel and their packages are worth every cent. We'll come back soon for sure!!!

Riverview Inn: Inn by the River

Stayed here as part of a group trip. Basic accommodation, decent bed, clean sheets, working airconditioner and CR, even includes TV with cable. All in all a pleasant stay and fairly cheap at 1,000 per night. Some rooms have queen beds, others have two single beds. Near the church and the market, however, you'd have to travel quite a bit to reach the bancas that will take you island hopping.

Tugawe Cove Resort: Newest Beach Resort in Caramoan

Tugawe Cove resort is a newly opened beach resort located in Caramoan, Camarines Sur. The beach is a small cove with powdery white sand. It is very private and secluded. It is for the exclusive use of guests only.

Around the cove are tall hills made of limestone. Getting to the cabanas, guests will cross a wooden bridge which is built at the side of limestone wall.

Cabanas have veranda where guests can have their meal or just to lounge. Each cabana is airconditioned, with its own toilet and bath. It is also equipped with 32" LED TV set and Cignal satellite TV.

Infinity pool is being built at the highest part of the place overlooking the sea.

Emerencia Homestay: Not so known but great homestay

Basically this homestay is a home owned by a high school teacher in Caramoan. It is similar to an apartelle which provides you with a kitchen, living room (television, dvd player), 2 a/c bedrooms and extra matresses to fit people. And it is also near Sights and Sand tourist inn where we had our meals. (unfortunately i wasn't able to take note of the contact numbeR)

It's simple, and you don't only have a room, but a whole house to yourselves.

Residencia de Salvacion: ala Family Resthouse

Great place to stay! They’ll take care of you as if you're visiting your relatives for a vacation, filling you w/ stories around the place from Ate Myrna and Ate Gina as they guide you along the trip.

RdS is a simple and cozy home w/ clean Ac rooms for a comfy night sleep; T&B w/ hot showers for a refreshing and relaxing bath especially after being wet from caramoan islands tour. They also got cable LCD TV. And at the spacious sala, their videoke is available for you to sing your hearts out!

They are also very accommodating as I inquired regarding their package tour rates at 3 in the morning, to my surprise I got a reply after a few minutes! Talk about fast reply! They would try to answer all your inquiries about caramoan and even help and guide you to whatever info you may need to know if you are to take the tour by yourselves and avail only their bed and breakfast. Kuya Edgar is also very kind enough to grant our request to have a side trip at CWC and Consocep falls before we leave Naga.

Thanks for having us stay at RdS! Makes our Caramoan Adventure feels like we are with our family!

Luckily, I left my tripod face plate at RdS when I was cleaning it the night before we left. Since Ate Myrna frequently drives Naga-Manila, I asked them if i can get it at their place in Manila, and they said that it is already there for me to pick up. Sweet!

Residencia de Salvacion: The best deal in town...make no mistake

They have now opened their Salvacion house to the public. I stumbled into the owner’s “Caramoan myHometown” website during my research about the islands for our Jan 2010 visit. After many logistical questions and details, the owner eventually offered me their B&B as an alternative to the more expensive resort.

Staying here is like you're part of the family--hospitality unlike any other. Their staff wonderfully takes care of their guests. Avail of their generous package and you'll surely not regret it. Even if you're just a backpacker or transit guest looking for a place to plop your head, they probably will have a decent bed to offer you.

Residencia offers affordable package—a fraction of the cost at Gota Resort. It includes food, lodging, boat rides to/from Guijalo, local transpo for island hopping. No need for you to haggle with the boatman for your fares to/from Guijalo, or with the boatmen for island hopping, or tricycle (tuk-tuk style) driver, or even at the public market. The guide takes care of those.

Food? Wow! Eat-all-you-can seafood—can’t beat that. Tell them what you want and their dedicated cook will not let you down. Cooking is done on woodfire, so the flavor and aroma is appetizing. Throw in some desserts if you can manage to stuff yourself.

Residencia de Salvacion is a 15-min ride from Guijalo Port, and situated mid-way between Guijalo and Centro (the town proper). The vacation house is modern and clean. The bedrooms come with a/c and hot water shower, and the family/living room is spacious and well-appointed. It can comfortably accommodate 8-20 people. Better come in groups for real fun and adventure. For big groups, they will arrange a van to take you and your picnic baskets to your desired destination. Note: Internet service can be spotty; some CF may have weak signals in some areas (check with owners); cable is probably reinstalled by now.

Thanks to the Nunez family and staff for the hospitality and opening their home to strangers who are eager to discover the beauty of the Caramoan Islands.
