Enigmata: Camiguin's Famous Tree House
I love, love, love this tree house. Fun-loving backpackers and artistic planeteers, this is the place for you!
Ever dreamed of living in a tree house? Well, this is THE tree house for big kids. It's filled with colorful, bohemian knick-knacks and works of art. Surprisingly, for a treehouse it has very good plumbing. The toilet and bathroom on the third level has a shower that works and a toilet that flushes! The reception area-cum-dining area is littered with musical instruments and a daybed that's quite inviting esp. after lunching on miso soup, fern pizza and pesto pasta. Nights are meant for music jamming at the dining hall. Most of the large sculptures outdoors are made by Kublai Millan. He also made the LARGE Enigman that beckons curious travelers to the tree house. There are many thought-provoking sculptures and structures (including the uh, phallic pool) in the resort. My stay was made more memorable by Enigmata's resident Earth Momma, the energetic and engaging "Mama Ros".
