The Corregidor Inn is the only place to stay in Corregidor, so one doesn't have a real choice. The rooms are a little small, with only one size of rooms (except of course for their Suite) for single, double or triple occupancy. However, our stay here was very enjoyable, mainly due to the superb and super friendly staff. I can't sing enough praise for the people on the island, from the waiters, to the guides to the security men. Well done! :) The inn has a swimming pool and is a short distance from the beach. There is a restaurant at the ground floor and a small library on the second floor. There is a small ref in the room and guests can request for a TV and DVD player brought to their room. Overnight stay with tour, transfers and meals: Single Php 2,950.00 Twin/Double Php 2,500.00 Extra bed (child/adult) Php 2,350.00 Child w/o Bed Php 1,700.00
The friendly and efficient staff makes the stay very special; The pipes creak but it is part of the charm of the place; There are rumors of ghosts on the halls at night (unfounded of course, thanks to my utter lack of sixth sense). The restaurant offers a great view of the sea and the island :) Theme: InnPrice: US$40-80 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: Corregidor Island, PhilippinesPhone: el Nos.: (632) 831-8140 | (632)Directions: Take the Sun Cruise Ferry from Manila Bay or a Banca from Mariveles, Bataan.Website: http://www.corregidorphilippines.com/

by syllybabe Add 750/pax ($15) to the day trip price and you can get a room at the hotel for an overnight's stay. Buffet lunch is included but other meals can be ordered at the restaurant. I keep telling my friends it's worth the overnight stay but they listen to others who say Corregidor's just good for a day trip. Right, D? If you like long walks in the afternoon as the sun goes down and you want to laze in the pool or lay out in the beach, I'd recommend spending the night here.

by Cess8 We haven't tried it but i believe the Corregidor Foundation, Inc. allows tents on the beach ground for a small fee (not sure how much though). I don't quite know yet where the restroom is supposed to be with this set-up though, but hey mother nature is all around, hehe (just joking).

I was not able to stay since I just opted for a daytrip but overnight guests include a stay in the Corregidor Hotel/Inn. It actually looks pretty nice from the outside although I doubt what else activities will I do after the tour of the island... maybe ghosthunt? :)

I am surprised to see that even up to April 2008, people are still saying that the Corregidor Inn is "the only place to stay" and "nothing else is available". Here is a little more accurate list for everyone: (1) Corregidor Inn - by far the best accomodation but the most expensive. (2) MacArthur's Cafe - near the Lorcha dock on the north side of Bottomside. (Bottomside is the area where you landed on the island). They have a few cottage style rooms, basic accommodation. (3) Corregidor Cove Cafe - they have a few cottages on the ocean front on the south side of Bottomside. Again basic accommodation. (4) Sea Calm Inn - located up the hill between Bottomside and Middleside. Also known as the 'hostel'. The sign there says P650night. (09189442884 or 09185241503) (5) camping at the south beach. The fee is P50/person. (6) Dormitory - located at Bottomside close to MacArthur's cafe. I probably shouldn't mention this one unless you are coming in a large group and maybe the Suncruise people will let you use this. To my knowledge it was last used when the day ferry could not return to Manila due to bad weather and they had to keep everyone overnight on the island (March 2008). Generally it is rarely used. For #2 and #3, I do not know the exact price per night but it is quite cheap. Power and water can go off but not that often. Other than talking to the people when you check-in at the CCP Terminal in Manila, I don't know how to help you get reservations at #2 and #3. It can be done when you check-in but it may not be a good idea to go hoping to get a room. Generally things at Suncruises are well run with one exception experienced by me and a couple friends also. The are not too efficient at returning e-mails. Good luck. Many photos are here: http://www.pbase.com/fots2/philippines_wwii Corregidor Island is an amazing place. Have a great trip. Theme: Other

The hotel is old and very ancient. It's really going back in time. Yet, it's clean and the people are very hospitable though during night times the electiricity would stopped for about 2 minutes because they are refueling their generator. The whole island is powered by generator because there's no electiricty
Since it's summer at that time, the swimming pool is a little bit dirty so my daughter and I would just swim a couple of minutes only then we went to the nearest beach area where we gathered some unique stones. The stones has red blemishes and from the story that i've found,it is believed that it is the blood of the dead soldiers...eerie...just a myth. since hotel accomodation is expensive you can go camping at the beach. just bring water, food, blanket and mosquito lotion coz there are lots of mosquitos there. please bring small bills coz the cafeteria won't let you buy food if you have a thousand or 500 bucks coz they don't have enough change for your money so you may end up getting hungry if you don't have food. also bring your own mineral water coz the prices there are so expensive.
people who like adventure will surely enjoy this camping. especially if they are with their with friends. we know someone in corregidor that let us go to malinta tunnel for free during the night to test if there are really ghost in the tunnel as others claimed to have have seen. nice experience coz we only have two flashlights and we were 9 that night. although i haven't seen the "ghosts" it was a nice experience going to inside it and seeing its deepest secrets and small tunnels.

corregidor inn's room is quite small. our room has a/c (which was quite noisy, maybe the unit is quite old), bed and bath is okay. please take note that they dont have tv set nor radio in the room. however, you can borrow board games (scrabble, pictionary, chess, etc.) for free at the reception. they also have a tv set available at the lobby which you can use for free (if no other guest is watching or better yet you watch together with other guests and make new friends)

by eXtian It was cheap... and if you are with your friends (8 or so)...it would be the best place to stay in Corregidor. We were a bit inconvenienced coz the AC was busted... and please do not try the water in their water dispenser... I did and was almost hospitalized.... don't say you weren't warned....
(Picture) On board the bus and about to leave the island…I looked back and felt a bit sad and teary eyed because somehow the Hostel even if it wasn’t that grand, became part of our lives... Theme: HostelPrice: less than US$20 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than average

The pool w/ the Hotel on the background. by bike_packer We stayed overnight and considering the whole family is on tour, there's no other choice of any other comfortable accomodation but this hotel. The room we got have a view of the sea facing Cavite. It was summer and complementing this view are the fire trees with their blooming red flowers giving life and color to the hilly landscape of Corregidor. The hotel staff are very accomodating and helpful in our inquiries on how to make the most of our stay in the island. Btw, the hotel management is also the island tour operator.
The hotel has a modest size swimming pool which my water-buddy children surely loved. Check their library - the books (specially the pictures) tell a lot of the war history Corregidos has gone through. Theme: HotelPrice: less than US$20 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageDirections: The hotel is located at an elevated ground giving a panoramic view on the front lobby of the seacoast of the Bataan Peninsula while most of the rooms' back window opens facing the sea on the Cavite side.
