Not Grand But Best Value
Cebu Grand Hotel is not really grand as its name implies. It's in fact a standard hotel with great value for your money. Rooms are surprisingly huge and equipped with aircon, phone, cable tv and hot/cold shower. Ours had 1 queen size bed with a single bed. Additional bed (foldable) can still be comfortably accomodated in the spacious room upon request. The size of the room fits a family or group on vacation. Rates include buffet breakfast. Do try their danggit - they fry it deliciously well.

Reasonable accomodation in the city
Hi. My husband & I are planning to go to Cebu on March. We want to explore the city after staying in one of Mactan resorts. Can anyone suggest a reasonable accommodation (clean rooms & with basic supplies) that is central to all the areas one has to visit in Cebu city? Thanks!!!

Cebu Grand Hotel offers reasonably priced spacious rooms and its centrally located uptown of the city.

Uptown district of Cebu is filled with these budget accommodations. There is Jasmin, Verbena, Mayflower and other pension houses. Sorry do not have their contact numbers. The uptown district of Cebu is where the Provincial Capitol and the famous Fuente Osmeña is located (the monument found infront of the 50 Peso bill).

For a thousand pesos, you can check in at Castle Peak Hotel, Mango Park Hotel, or Sarosa Hotel.
For around 2k Golden Prince Hotel (new) or Midtown Hotel
Cebu City is fairly small, you can get to places by cab in 15-30 mins for less than a P100.
