From the main road, you could hardly tell that there was a hotel. The car turned into a parking area that looked like a garage cum warehouse, leading to the hotel entrance.
The room had airconditioning, heated water, a fridge (that you had to plug in before you could use) and satellite TV with pretty poor reception.
What made it disappointing was the room was not clean enough for my liking. The floor was sticky and you could see a layer of dirt and grime on your sole after just walking across the room a few times. The bed cover felt gritty and the sheets were stained with blood and a few other unknown substances. The towels were a dull white, kind of grayish. What made it ironical was a notice in the room stated that guests had to pay extra laundry charges if the towels and sheets were stained.
The pillows were firm though.
Having said all that, the porter and receptionists were friendly enough and breakfast was included in the Deluxe room rate of 1,900php. Breakfast was rather simple. We had a choice of 3 different basic sets.
There was no tourist maps or brochures outlining sights available at the lobby. There were maps on sale but we didn't bother to get it since we were only staying a night.
Unique Quality: The hotel was situated rather near Ayala shopping centre and SM supermarket. A metered taxi ride cost us approximately 50php.
