The Orchard Cebu Hotel and Suites: For Business and Budget Travelers

Yes, this hotel is not five star, but it provides comfort and good service, most especially for business and budget travelers.

The Lobby may not have grandiose chandeliers like that of The Manila Hotel, but it is clean, and you would be welcomed by the Concierge/Front Desk Staff, with gusto.

The hotel is only two years old, so they are still experiencing birth pains, but they do listen to comments and suggestions, and hopefully, through the years, they will be one of the well-known hotels in the area.

It is just a stone's throw away from the new mall called the J Centre and the famous restaurant chain called Sunburst Chicken.



If you need anything, the staff will try their very best to meet your needs. They are very, very helpful.



Unique Quality:

The rooms, including the most expensive, are very, very affordable.

The Suite, at PhP3,500 per night(tax inclusive), besides all the other amenities found in other rooms has complimentary coffee, a microwave, a mini-kitchen, and a jacuzzi.

The Executive Room, at PhP2,800 per night (tax inclusive) has a bath tub.

The Deluxe Room, where we stayed in, is indeed very spacious as the website describes. Other rooms have balconies with a view. It is also very, very affordable at PhP2,400 per night.(tax inclusive)

The most affordable room is at PhP1,950 per night (tax inclusive)

Plated Breakfast for guests of The Orchard Cebu Hotel in Mandaue City courtesy of the Vienna Kaffeehaus, their in-house restaurant/cafe, inclusive of delicious brewed coffee or juice.

Check-in time at 2 pm; check-out time at 12 noon

Hotel Stella: Small but good

Hotel Stella is a relatively new hotel situated one street back from Osmena Boulevard on Barangay Capitol

I would recommend this hotel to somebody who really just wants somewhere clean comfortable to lay there head at night or someone on a trip to Cebu City to meet a say prospective partner.

Everything the offer on their website www.hotelstella.com.ph is true.

One warning this hotel does not really suit families as the rooms are very small even the family room which we stayed in is small but saying that the rooms are clean, 81cm flat screen tv wall mounted with a good range of both local and cable channels,small standard bar fridge, wardrobe for basic clothing, bathroom was clean but small.

Staff are very very friendly nothing was a trouble.We had a couple of issues getting the room cleaned but that was more miscommunication and the time we were leaving the room of a in most cases afternoon.

Unique Quality: It doesn`t really have any outstanding qualities aside from the really friendly staff everyone from the security guards to the porters, cleaners, receptionists is a credit to the hotel

Plantation Bay Resort & Spa: All round great experience

Plantation Bay is for me always a place I will visit when I return home to visit my family in Cebu.

Our room was Lagoon Side (PE 11) and although there was slight issues with the toilet & air con these were promptly attended to & fixed.It was thoroughly cleaned and stocks replenished during our stay.

One thing I think could be looked at is wheelchair access to rooms.We were on the ground floor but there was still steps to get our wheelchair bound friend up.It wasn`t a big concern as there ws enough strong men around to lift the wheelchair but I feel it is something that could be looked at in the future.

The surrounds,lagoons, pools etc are kept in immaculate condition.The staff are ever & always willing to help if you had a question or a problem Everything about our stay this time was pleasing right from the moment we checked in until we checked out.

Our only regret was we never stayed long enough...

A thoroughly enjoyable experience for all concerned.

Unique Quality: I particularly like the no tipping policy, takes away pressure of who and how much to tip.

The Ancestors Pension: Mandaue's Pension House

The place is great though small! Every room has its private bathroom which is very important for me with heater. Towels and soap are also provided. The small television has cable, making it convenient for you to have more options in what to watch. There's a small refrigerator too.

the room rates are affordable. By the time we arrived in the pension house, about 4 rooms were only available. We chose to stay in a deluxe room and paid for 1200Php good for 2 but since we were 3, we ordered for an additional foam bed and paid another 200Php.

The staffs are helpful and very courteous. There's also a luggage room where you can leave your things/luggage for a while if you wish to check out early. You just have to inform the receptionist about it. Checkout is 12nn.

Unique Quality: The Ancestors Pension House is near the St. Joseph Church, City Hall, Department Store, restaurants, etc.

within walking distance: Nearest hotel from Cebu International airport

Hi There!

There are three hotels i can recommend to you. if your concern about the distance the Waterfront hotel and casino is just across the International Airport extimated walking distance would be 3-5min. which can only cost you $72 per room per night. There's that comfort because of the distance and its within your budget range.

Second hotel would be the Lancaster Hotel this is just 0.4 miles from the airport. i would say this is indeed a walk-away from the airport. A $50 per room per night.

Third would be the Days Hotel Mactan Cebu which is about $95 per room per night.

the three hotels i recomment is actually within the area and its accessible. Transportation going to the city proper is available and since you're going to bohol you can also ask assistance from them which is as easy as that you can have everything planned.
