WAY less than a "4-star" Hotel
I would never even recommend this hotel to my greatest foes! I can't even believe the four-star rating! Take a look at the website - the rooms look all pretty and clean, but do be fooled by these! Our family had an unpleasant stay in this hotel, so we canceled only some of our nights, since we had no choice, but to sleep here since time was limited.
First of all, when you arrive at the hotel, do be surprised. The picture shows off the hotel in all glitz and glamor, but all it is is an unclean, nasty hotel at a very bad location. The reception is OK, compared to everything else, but there are advertisements of a foot spa that isn't even open! I'm sure there's no pool either.
If you enter the room, you just get overwhelmed by what you see: Dirty floors, unfinished furniture, a claustrophobic bathroom and not the cleanest windows and beds. We even saw a dead cockroach in the hallway... Don't expect to have a quiet room, since the location is quite noisy.
Breakfast is OK if you're Filipino or are used to basic, simple breakfasts. Don't expect a 101 dish buffet! This is served in the coffee shop, but where is the blitzy restaurant they show off at the website? Not even talked about by the hotel people...
But this was all just "superior" (standard) room, so I wonder what deluxe or suite is like. I don't think I would be impressed, because of the bad reviews on other sites.
Honestly, the price talks the truth. (cheap)

Hotel in the city center
I didn't stay here but a few friends of mine did and enjoyed their stay. Staff are very friendly and the accommodations were good. The biggest plus to the hotel are the rates and the location which is very central to almost everything in the city.
