Good Hotel Location
The stay was good. The staff are friendly. The price is very affordable considering it's close to tourists spots (Magellan's Cross, Sto. Nino Basilica) and walking distance to Fort San Pedro and Plaza Independencia.

The only thing that I'm having issues with is the elevator(the up and down arrow button is hard to press) and the towels(not so white though I know it's clean) and there are a lot of beggars outside the hotel. Anyway, we already informed the management about it and they said that they will do necessary actions about it.
I saw posting aout van rental with local tour guide named Eugene and Edna but can't find it in your link given. Do you hane any conact info?

Travel Tips for Cebu City
towels can be useful
by englishlalaki
clothes are so cheap to buy in the philippines, you dont need to bring many at all. you can buy a t-shirt for £1 - £2 and a good pair of shorts for £3 too if you shop around. footwear comes just as cheap. No need to buy a rain coat, its better to buy a small umbrella. take plenty of cream for bites. repellants tend not to work in my experience so you need things to take away the itch and soreness. Something to steralize the water that you wash your teeth with may be useful dont forget camera batteries. Though batteries in AA or AAA are cheap there, other sizes may be difficult to find. a towel is always useful. in case of a heavy downpour you may need a rub down, also there are hotels with no towels.
Pizza Galore
by freddie18 about Greenwich
Whenever I visit the Philippines, I always take the opportunity to have a taste of one of the best pizza in town.
In Cebu, I made it a point that I do not miss the crunchy pizza that until now I believe have captured my taste buds. I especially like the crust, no doubt about it.
Greenwich is a famous pizza parlour in the Philippines and in Cebu City in particular. Take a bite or two, and you will know how good this pizza is. But mind you, it is not only pizza, there are more snacks to choose from.
You will surely enjoy the place...and the pizza!
Spanish Wine Bar

Relive the glory that was Cebu. Visit the famed Magellan's Cross site (it wouldn't be an official Cebu trip if you didn't visit and had your picture taken in this place), this symbolizes the Philippines' acceptance of Christianity. Right beside the site is the Sto.Nino Church, the oldest church in the Philippines. This is where the image of Sto. Nino given to Hara Amihan (who was later baptized to be Queen Juana) is being kept. The feast of this patron saint is celebrated every 3rd week of January, widely known as the most colorful festival of the region; The Sinulog Festival. Take a tour at Colon street, the oldest street of the Philippines. First barter was exchanged here. Then proceed to Tabuan to buy those danggits, dried squid, chicharon, dried mangoes etc. etc.
Taoist Temple
by tidzy
We visited the Taoist Temple and was shown around by a mute person. We got to ask questions to their gods using liver-shaped pieces of wood. You could ask three questions, if both pieces face up, it is a yes, if one is facing down its a maybe and if both are facing down, its a no.
