Tambuli

We checked in for 2 nights 3 days, nice welcome drink, and a warm reception. The hotel is joined to the East Wing and the Cebu Beach Club as they all belong to the same owner. There is a TV with satellite channels and fridge with 2 small complimentary bottles of water every day. The bathrooms were a little worn out. The pool has a nice shape, is quite big and also very clean. The restaurant at this resort served good food especially during the BBQ dinner buffet.

The taxi will charge a flat rate of 200-300 pesos around Mactan Island and some time depends how far you want to go.

In-short, the overall conclusion is good but the price would have to come down a bit for us to return there.

Unique Quality: The beach was less than average and the location of the hotel is quite far from Cebu City. Beach lovers can tried out the resort’s aqua sports equipment like the Jet Ski, aqua bike, and banana boat or even parasailing.

Cebu Beach Club

by joysweet about Cebu Beach Club

Belongs to the Tambuli Resort family, Cebu Beach Club is the mid-range label in their Mactan resorts (together with Tambuli East and Tambuli West). Got a cottage type of room, near the children's pool area. Staying at the mid-range resort, you can use the facilities at Tambuli West (the high end of the family) where they have a better looking swimming pool. There's a jacuzzi at Cebu Beach Club; the beds are a little small for me and dinner could be better.

"Home of Senor Sto. Nino"

Visited Cebu as a thanksgiving when my mom had a small stroke last January 2005. Got a cheap flight from PAL that time, and we decided to travel to Cebu and go to the Sto. Nino Church.

cebu / bohol - how many days

by rtravels

We are going to Cebu and Bohol, but am not sure how many days is enough? In cebu, we figure two days and three in bohol...is this enough to see the sites?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just to see the must to see in Bohol, three days would be enough. Actually in just a day, you can see around 7 popular tourist sites like Chocolate Hills, Loboc River, Tarsier Sanctuary, etc.

I agree with moonlighting. However, I think your 2 days in Cebu is not enough as it is a larger city and there are several places to see there.

Really Jane?....do you think then that two days in Bohol are enough..one day for the popular tour and one day at the beach, then three days at Cebu?

What is there to do/see in Cebu besides Magellans cross? Any tips/help as to where to go would greatly help.

thanks

Oh so many. Beaches, beaches beaches (Badian, camotes island, Bantayan island, Cebu Beach club are among the best), Tops, Fort san Pedro, Shangri-la in Mactan, Basilica de Sto Nino, Lapu-lapu shrine, etc. In cebu you can easily go around because there are plenty of public transpo. Or if you prefer, rent a car perhaps.

Jane is it easy to get to palawan from cebu? Have you been? We are considering flying to El Nido, but I am not sure if you can from Cebu. If we go it would only be for about 3 days.

I've been to both places but never from one to the other. Always via Manila. 3 days in El Nido is doable but a little tight. I'm sure that if ever there is a flight from Cebu to Palawan it would be to go to Puerto Princesa so you'd have to travel by land to go to el nido. I'd say 6 hours to el nido by land.
