I have stayed here two times with my Family.
The first time a mix up over the arrival point that meant instead of the booked and payed for transport to colect us, we had to take a taxi.
After passing comment on this upon check in we were summoned for an upgrade to the hotel Horizon floor.
Private check in with drinks served sat down.
Wow, 5 star check in, bigger room, 24 hour Butler service, and a huge room.
After checking the room rate I nearly had a heart attack as we booked a package deal.
I called down to reception to ease my nerves as they had my credit card in tow and of course I wanted no shocks on check out.
No problem Sir, an upgrade for you all.

The Butler was run off his feet with our room service snacks after disco at 03:00 in the morning.
A burger on silver service with hot coffee at this time, by the way fantastic puts all the franchise groups to shame.
Eating a big mac in a king size bed with a luxury robe means you have reached heaven.

All here, do not need to venture outside if looking for a resort within a resort.
This place is top notch.
A fantistic place with very lush surroundings also.
All open except for the rainy season, but this in itself makes for a romantic vacation while sipping drinks and watching the storm trails.
Fantastic food no matter what culture you prefer.
The grounds of this hotel are vast and a stroll around is something that makes you want to stay longer.
If you do go outside and travel to Cebu City be prepared to pay a slightly higher rate for the car at the hotel.
Tell the driver to go slow as you want to see the local people of Mactan along the road in action.
He will drive fast as he can of course to get another fare.
Promise him a nice tip with a big smile, and the deal is done.
Any Taxi in Cebu will return you there at most likely haf the price.
Visit a local Market in Mactan, meet the people outside as they are very friendly and want to meet you.
They just love to smile.
Cebu is a nightmare City, so why leave a lush paradise unles you want to shop for some real bargains in the massive mega malls like SM or others.
Give yourself at least over one hour on each return trip, not the twenty mins advised.
Cebu Traffic is a big problem, so be prepared for a toilet before taking a long trip.
