Dano Beach Resort

clearly my favorite

looks can be deceiving. from outside it looks like a native style wooden interior judging from its amakan bamboo wall and nipa roof but once you take a look inside it's totally different. floor is newly tiled that gives a bright effect on the interior and clean feeling in general, bedsheets are clean and there's standfan, shelf and small table beside the bed. cr/bathroom is tiled allover and squeaky clean allover. a bamboo bench and mini-table occupy the veranda that overlooks onto a wide beachfront, in fact the widest in all of bounty beach. i especially like the location of the cottage we got because it's right in the middle of dano's cottages. dano cottages are set apart at least 10 meters from each other giving you total detachment from other resort guests. they gave us the room for 500 per day and 75 for extra head. they charge 100 for extra bed. by the way, each cottage is twin room, at least the one we got and the other cottage next to us (we got both rooms that means we own the whole house for 3 days). electricity and water runs 24 hours. really enjoyed my stay here, got nothing to complain about. the next time i visit malapascua, i won't bother looking at other resorts. i will go straight to dano and get exactly the same room i had. the ground is sandy allover and coconut trees dot the area. i genuinely felt the 'tropical island feeling' here i didn't feel in most resorts i stayed in the past years.
