Saud Beach resort is the premier beach resort in the White Beach area of Barangay Saud (off course since it is owned by the former town mayor who discovered it's tourism potentials). Starting in 2000, Saud Beach Became popular among tourist and beach resorts started musrooming in the area but again htis resort is the Gran Dame of All. and being the original, it also has the most expensive prices for accmodations (heck, you get what you pay for!)
They also offer half day to full day tours of nearby attractions such as the patapat viaduct, pasaleng bay and blue lagoon. They have the best beach front view in Saud and offers 100 plus rooms that are equipped w/ air con, hot/ cold shower, bathroom and verandah views of the beach. Prices here starts at 3,500 pesos for a single room and 4,500 pesos for a double room. Our room, with a front veranda, was good for 4, but can accommodate an extra person (for an extra charge, of course). It was airconditioned with its own T/B and full length mirror. In addition, we were allowed to occupy one hut near the beach for relaxation and "bonding" time, at no additional cost.
It was really a good decision that we chose to stay here; the staff were hospitable and always on hand to assist.
What made our stay more pleasant are the policies of the resort on security, noise level, and drinking which are ideal for a family vacation.
If you're concerned about security, the resort's gate is close from 6pm-6am and a security guard is on duty 24 hours.
Drinking of alcoholic beverages is allowed within the confine of your rented room and not in common areas, not even at the huts.
And, you can sing with the videoke machine to your heart's content, but the volume should be kept to a level that cannot disturb the other guests. The food was great!!! you can actually buy in the market and ask the hotel staff to cook it for you the way you want of course there is minimal amount of charge, Service for me was excellent, rooms are clean and best of all their staff are so hospitable. Definitely i recomend this place for all seeking the best value of their money. You can get a room for 2 for only 800 Pesos per night double size bed, airconditioning and private toilet and bathroom
The place has good location at the center of Saud beach, from the beach house the beach front is approx 25 meters away, bancas are available for beach or island tours, the owner can actually give you tips on places to go. At first glance, you might get turned off by the black sand beach... but look beyond that and see the clean, clear water and the wonderful view of Luzon Strait and Pico de Loro Mountain.
The staff is great and food terrific! they also have lots of options for you to do.. like take a hike through the mountains and swim in the falls, see the blue lagoon.. or cross the hanging bridge towards cagayan valley! they have a room with 3 queen size bed....good for 8 to 10 persons..... it costs 2,500/room/night......

Price range varies and suits a wide range of budgets. Cheapest accommodations are the dorm-type fan rooms, costing about 500 per person per day. On the uppity side, you can have an airconditioned room with your own bathroom with hot and cold water for about 1,000 per head and upwards. If you get the nicest rooms you will have a bathtub, a small zen garden, and your own little cabana overlooking the coast. Food, service and Room were the best things i have experienced during my stay in Pagudpud. Food and room price are so reasonable! they have clean airconditioned rooms. Definitely i recommend this place of stay while in Pagudpud Ilocos Norte

Panzzian is a Beach and Mountain Resort. Although the sand is not as white as the beaches in Saud, one can still enjoy the resort as the place is very relaxing and comfy. The staffs are friendly and nice. The resort owner took time to chat and mingle with us =)
The airconditioning on our room was not working well and the staff are nice enough to offer us an alternative room. But since we booked for 2 rooms and opted to be near each other, they gave us instead free breakfast in exchange for the faulty aircon. Luckily, the weather was cool during the time of our visit, around 15degrees F, so we just requested for an electric fans w/c they readily provided for us.

We wanted a really low cost place to stay in and we were able to book a place in Northridge. Basically what we wanted was just a place to stay in and go out most in the day. We rented a room good for 4-5 persons at a rate of P1,500 overnight. We planned to stayed for 2 nights but we got there around or past midnight already so they charged us for one night only. The room has one bathroom and two large beds. The owner/caretakers can lend extra beds.
The staff is really accomadating. They lent us their open type owner jeep for about P1,000 per day. It was peak season and we got to see the different places in Pagudpud. Our tour guide was really kind and has a lot of stories to tell so we weren't bored.
Since it was a peak season when we go there, there were others who were bunking outside in their tents. Luckily for us, when we got there (it was an early sunday morning), they were ready to leave first thing in the morning so during the night, it was peaceful and the videoke machine was not roaring loud on a sunday night.
Going to Saud beach is just a few meters away. The front overlooking the inn is not adaptable for swimming (very rocky) so you need to walk further away.
