Simply Paradise!
We went there last week and stayed overnight. It was our first time in this resort although we have been in the North a couple of times already. It's location is very strategic when one would want to get a good start roaming the beautiful spots of Ilocos Norte. Immediately after the Resort is Paraiso ni Anton (Grotto with healing water), Agua Grande and Patapat Viaduct. The food they served were all great, the staff were very accommodating and the rooms were super comfy. Water, electricity, cooling system and facilities were all OK. I was amazed by the crystal clear water of the beach. It may not be of white sand quality like that of Saud, but their beach is definitely invitingly clean and clear.

Panzzian's Simple Beauty
If you're not too cozy about white sand beaches, Pannzian would be enough for you.. the sand is not black as others say, as for me it's Gray! haha.. the place is simple, not that extravagant, but the overall serenity and the mountain-beach resort setting is truly an amazement for me.. and the tent accommodation near the shore is great... compared to usual room accommodation, try it!!! I have been to Boracay, and I would say Pannzian is totally different... One thing I remember most here is the hospitality and friendliness of one of its owners- Architect Bobsy I think is the name.. he managed to chat with us and even took a shot of the brandy we are drinking that time! cool guy!!!

Pagudpud
Panzzian is a Beach and Mountain Resort. Although the sand is not as white as the beaches in Saud, one can still enjoy the resort as the place is very relaxing and comfy. The staffs are friendly and nice. The resort owner took time to chat and mingle with us =)
The airconditioning on our room was not working well and the staff are nice enough to offer us an alternative room. But since we booked for 2 rooms and opted to be near each other, they gave us instead free breakfast in exchange for the faulty aircon. Luckily, the weather was cool during the time of our visit, around 15degrees F, so we just requested for an electric fans w/c they readily provided for us.

Hidden Charms
At first glance, you might get turned off by the black sand beach... but look beyond that and see the clean, clear water and the wonderful view of Luzon Strait and Pico de Loro Mountain.
Unique Quality: The staff is great and food terrific! they also have lots of options for you to do.. like take a hike through the mountains and swim in the falls, see the blue lagoon.. or cross the hanging bridge towards cagayan valley!
