Vigan Best Hotel

It is the best hotel location in Vigan, this famous Vigan Plaza Hotel (owned by Chavit Singson a former Governor of Ilocos Sur), this situated right across the Plaza Burgos. At P2300 / night for standard room double occupancy with breakfast, the staff are polite, and food is great.

Vigan high end accomodation

We just visited Philippines recently (December 2006) and we had the chance to visit Vigan. Before visiting Vigan, I've researched different accomodations on the net and I was so glad we've chosen this hotel. This hotel look basic and simple from outside but when you get into the hallways and the rooms, they're very clean, quiet and wide open (no congestion or kids screaming the hallways, etc...) I recommend the Vigan Plaza Hotel. This hotel is very beautiful with its old Spanish structure, real wood furnitures, old pictures and they were all maintained with pride. The room amenities were all modern and spanking clean. Off course the staff are friendly and informative. We felt safe in this hotel. If you're looking for the best hotel/accomodation, this is the place you wanna booked in. The room price includes free breakfast.

Unique Quality: Old Spanish structure with modern amenities, very clean room and wide open structures. There's a wide open veranda looking into the plaza, and the bicycles and kalesa traffics. Overall our trip in Vigan is the best in Philippines. We find the local people here have pride in making their city clean and organized. Definitely the best city on Luzon!!!

Room fit for a Spanish Ilustrado

I recommend this hotel because it's right beside the tourist office, the church and the plaza. If you talk about Spanish-constructed cities, the plaza is where the action is.

This is a nostalgic place to be since the hotel has the capiz (shell) windows, azoteas, hardwood floors, esconsced lamps, intricate darkwood furniture, tiled roof, and inner courtyard with fountain.

These all remind me of the glory of the Philippines when it was colonized by Spain.

Split type A/C and big TV
