Paradise Resort: Nearest Resort near the Falls
Among the resorts in Pagsanjan, this is the only one that remains open to the general public after the storm Ondoy. Most of the resorts are still being renovated as of our visit date February 11, 2010.
We did not stay in the resort, we headed directly to a pit stop in the middle of the river, where we had lunch.
Unique Quality: They have a long pool of spring water.
Day tour fee is P125 per pax for the adults and half for children above 3 ft in height.
Huts costs from P200 to P600.

Pagsanjan Falls Lodge: Great place to visit and stay
We stumbled upon this hotel when we were looking for places to stay in Pagsanjan area. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the room rates were reasonable. There are different room types to choose from, and the staff was nice enough to let us look at each room so we can decide which one to get.
The hotel facilities are pretty good. There is a spacious restaurant that is overlooking the river. The food was good (try the mango shake!) There are 2 pools: one circular pool with a slide, and the second pool is a longer pool. Both are clean, but i prefer the longer pool because its different (you'll have to see it to know what I mean). The hotel rooms were clean as well as the bathrooms.
For the canoe ride to the Falls, the hotel staff can arrange it for you. The price was P750 per person. This is the hotel rate as I'm sure prices can vary depending on where you rent the canoe. The canoe ride to the falls is exhilirating, and takes about 30mins each way, with a quick stop halfway at a small store along the river. One small tip: bring some cash as it is courtesy to buy the "bangkeros" a soda or chips.
When you reach the waterfall, there is an extra fee of about P50 to ride the raft to the falls. This is a must in my opinion as it a one in a lifetime experience! I've done it twice =) . If you don't want to ride the raft, it is just as fun to take pictures of the waterfall and view the beauty of nature around you.
Unique Quality: Great location, friendly staff

Camino Real: Pit stop
Since we went on a day trip, there was really no need for us to get a room. However, the "tourism officer who hijacked us" from the highway turned out to be a "broker" from Camino Real. He brought us to this unglamorous guest house frequented by Korean tourists.
Anyway, it turned out to be a good decision as we were able to leave our vehicle at their parking lot. They also allowed us to use one of their rooms (with T/B) free of charge to change from our wet clothings after the trip.
Unique Quality: The guesthouse is located along the river. The moment we stepped out of the building, we jumped onto the boat for the trip.
