Junner's and Avila's resort: For the travellers of southern part of Masbate

Junner's and Avila's resorts are managed by Mr.Stacey, the current government employee of Esperanza. It's located Barangay Casabangan, Pio V. Corpuz, Masbate.

There are cottages for overnight guests. It's an ideal place for islands hopping and scuba divings because there are beautiful beaches and islets around Pio V. Corpuz.

Avila's island is also managed by Mr.Stacey. It was named after the former mayor of Pio V. Corpuz, and it can be reached by 10 minutes' banca boat ride from Junner's haven. I hear it's a very nice place for scuba diving and Mr.Stacey offers all necessery equipment and lessons.

A cottage is 300 peso per night, a meal is 80 peso, and a bottled water is 15 peso. The prices seem to go down for group guests.

I think it's a suitable place to start travelling around the southern part of Masbate.

Staying at this B&B feels like you never left the comforts of home (unless you are used to hot shower). It's a 3-storey building a tricycle ride away from the everything the City has to offer. It has one a/c family room that's also ideal for a 'barkada' of 10, 2 a/c single rooms that can accomodate an extra mattress, and 2 fan rooms. Only the a/c rooms have TV with cable connection. Rooms are located at the 3rd floor with a lounge that opens to a veranda allowing you to enjoy the cool night air. Rooms cost 800 for the family room, 500 for single a/c, and 300 for fan rooms. For an additional 70 pesos (or was it 50) per person, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast of fresh fruits, fresh catch (Masbate is an island), eggs, and sometimes with meat or veggies plus wonderfully brewed coffee. Coffee and tea and a hot/cold mineral water dispenser is available all day. Linens and towels are included and changed everyday, unless request otherwise. The plus? If you run short of change of clothing, you can request to use their washing machine:D for a very minimal fee.
