its at the very end of puerto galera,,,when you go to white beach or either muelle pier puerto galera you have to go with the tric for another 5 to 8minutes then you reach the resort,,is that all you need or you want more???
Was checking out this place as it's pretty cheap and it's on Small Lalaguna Beach which is a lot more quiet.
Rooms are pretty basic but you do have options :
Oceanfront fan room : US$16-18
Oceanfront aircon room : US$20-24
Unique Quality: Rooms with seaview
Dive center
Nicer beach than Sabang
Directions: Small Lalaguna Beach
The signage
the path towards the beach
Seafood marinara
Panorama at Sabang Beach

I just would like to know if it is still enjoyable to go to puerto galera white beach this week...specifically this 3rd of June. The whole family is planning to go. Is it currently rainy? will PG experience heavy rains this week? Need answers asap...peace ;-)

My officemates just got back from Puerto Galera this Monday. Weather in the island is hot! I suggest that you travel to Puerto (and back to Batangas port) in the morning. Sea is a lot calmer in the morning, they say.

The guides at Mabuhay divers in Small La Laguna seem to have this underwater navigation thing all worked out. Twice on the last dive of the day, we surfaced directly adjacent to the floating bar off Sabang beach.... You could smell the cold beers on tap before you even pull the regulator from your mouth....
Cant beat that.....
While some people find it amusing and entertaining, throwing coins into the sea for children to dive and catch encourages laziness and beggar-mentality. These kids are not to entertain but they are there to earn money. Mind you, they would reject if you throw 0.25 centavos. “Kulang pa sa pagod” (Not worth the effort), they reasons.
Tourism brings money; it has some bad effects as well.
I prefer backpacks. Leave your mega-purses behind. Actually theres no need to bring clothes because there are stores selling these. From underwear to pants--name it. Bring emergency medicines. Toiletries are sold at Sari-sari stores. Bring a lot of batteries or better, a charger. Bring your best camera ever especially if you plan to do some island hopping. Bikini, sarong, board shorts.
One thing that I enjoy doing in Puerto Galera is kayaking. My friend and I usually go a couple of beaches away with no people and resort at all. Just be ready for the days when there are big currents. We borrow the kayak at Jun Resort, a korean owned. They usually charge us 200 pesos for an hour but there was a time when they only let us pay 500 pesos for more than 3 hours of usage.
