Kokosnuss Garden Resort: Kokosnuss Sucks... Don't get fooled
Koskossnuss Resort is a family owned resort. The owner and his family live in the same place. Family members, staff, guests use the same office and hang out in the same area.
What keeps us happy is the aircon which works well.
I booked our room in advance (February) for April 11 to 17, 2012 with the price of P 1,980. The rate is not reasonable because their staff are not well trained to handle guests and their complaints. They only greet you when the German owner is sitting outside. Another thing, you will even clean your own food order, after you finish eating you will place the food tray in front of your room guess what? you will find it again the next day... so you have no choice but to clean it up on your own.
I will not recommend this place.
The one that they claimed a swimmig pool is about knee deep high. It means you can't really swim in it because it is too small, about a meter radius. It is more of a fountain to me than a pool.
We stayed at Room G1 (aircon room). It is good for a couple only because the room is so small. The toilet have only curtain as a cover so when nature's call, the other partner should go out of the room unless they can bear the smell.
Note: When we arrive the room has faulty electrical wiring's, when you switch on the exhaust fan at the toilet it will become so smelly.

Kokosnuss Garden Resort: Good enough pricewise
Hotel composed of nipa huts at the perimeter of the resort. Most are just basic bed and 4 walls kind of thing. We took their supposed "best" nipa suite and it has aircon, TV, queen bed, corner desk, side table, clothes hangers plus 1 huge bathroom (you can fit a dining table inside). They are building a 3 story concrete hotel though.
Facilities: wading pool for kids, adult tree swing, and restaurant serving limited food.
Amenities: Soap, towels, TV.
Caveat: Cocks crowing during specific times of the day. Paths can become muddy during rainy season. They have no in-house van to trasport you to the airport. Owner has a toddler son who tends to tinker with guests stuff when you are dining at the restaurant.
Pleasant staff attends to your needs. They can contact tour operators if you desire to island hop.
They have a promo $92 for 3D/2N fullboard inclusive of Busuanga-Kokosnuss-Busuanga airport transfers.
Room only rates range from $5-$19/per person. Rate based on twin sharing.

Busuanga Island Paradise: Busuanga Island Paradise: Great Service
Well-kept resort. Food is excellent and there's so much to do there. You can stay in for a day, take a break from island-hopping. Go up Jonera Hill, stay near the La Vista rooms and watch the birds. Take a dip in the fairly warm pool at night. And the food! My aunt and I made reservations about a month ahead of our trip and we got the 3-days and 2-nights package. They prepared 6 meals for us that were just wonderful.
Wonderful views in every corner of the resort. They have their own hill so you probably won't get bored. The staff is uber-friendly.

Busuanga Island Paradise: A Hidden Sanctuary
This resort is located 20mins away from the town of Coron. Although it is a little bit far from the town, you will be greatly compensated for the good accomodation. Service to and from the town is readily provided. The staff are super friendly and very accomodating to our requests. The rooms are spacious and clean. Towels, soap, shampoo and toothpastes are provided and the toilets are very clean and nice. There is a pool in the resort where you could take a dip. Although there is no television sognal, the rooms are provided with a televison and dvd set, where you could borrow dvds/vcds from the front desk. They have books and magazines too that you can borrow. Buffet breakfast and diiner are served every day and the food are ample and good.
The owner was nice enough to give us an upgrade upon our arrival! A list of itenerary was already waiting to be given to us upon our arrival to give us an idea of our upcoming activities. A personal guide was also provided to keep us company and to look after our things while we are enjoying our activities.

I really love every bit of this resort,I admit it's a little bit pricy but you really get what you paid for.Aside from the beautiful sceneries around the island,Club Paradise played such a big role on our wonderful holiday. The room is immaculate, staffs are friendly and helpful and very much well-trained.The food is also great! It was such a perfect holiday for me.I will definitely come back!
