It is a Garden setting accommodation, with restaurant, free wifi with tour package. A little bit separated from the town center. Their double A/C room costs 1000 per night. They also have tour package inclusive of the accommodation.

Best Value for money
We stayed at one of the apartment building type. Two floors, with living room and kitchen downstairs (complete with pans, plates and other cooking tools), and two bedrooms upstairs.
If you don't mind cooking, this place would save you a lot on food expenses. The market is just a few minutes away from the lodge so you could buy fresh sea foods and vegetables from there and cook them just the way you want them. It is also beside a sari-sari store (local convenience store) so you could buy miscellaneous stuff you might have forgotten, or snacks perhaps.
The apartment is really cozy. The furnitures are all wood and the design is native―lots of wooden carvings and local paintings―giving you that exotic feeling of being in one of the remote provinces in the Philippines.

Great place to stay
We didn't stay here but saw the place since it is right beside Darayonan Lodge. It looks quite a nice and homey place. We did check out their bar and had a great time there. The staff were all pretty nice.
We checked their rates and the ones given us was P950 for two and P1250 for three for airconditioned rooms without breakfast.
Unique Quality: Great location.

Coron Accomodation
We stayed at the Village Lodge for three nights in mid-December 2008, and we are very glad that we did. We were a little concerned, as we were booking from Canada and had never been to Coron. As it turned out, the Village Lodge was a wonderful place to stay - I wish we had stayed there longer, and if we return to Coron then we’ll stay at the Village Lodge without even considering other accommodation.
We found the Village Lodge to be accurately described as per its website, which can be easily found by searching for: Coron Village Lodge.
We took a chance on it because of several other positive Internet reviews, and because it was more centrally located and yet farther away from some of the establishments that were reportedly noisier. This indeed turned out to be the case, and we found ourselves within a pleasant walking distance of almost everything in a nice section of town (and just a 5-10 minute walk to the base of Mt Tapyas). We heard no noise of any kind from any of the other guests (no loud TV, music, karaoke, etc), despite the fact that we were there for three days. It is situated on a main road, and so there is some tricycle noise (and roosters crowing) during the night, but this is standard virtually everywhere in the Philippines and was, in fact, less of an issue here than any other place we stayed during the whole month.
We found the room to be really clean, the AC worked well (and was relatively quiet), and there was hot water (the hot water was provided by a small wall mounted heater, which I found to be standard for all places with hot water in the Philippines). We had absolutely no complaints of any kind with the room. The only thing that may have been an issue is one time we found that there was no water in the bathroom – it seems that the building we were in wasn’t supplied by a water line. But within moments we noticed a water truck outside and within a few minutes the water was restored. We particularly liked our room, as we paid a bit more for a deluxe room with balcony, but any other rooms that I caught glimpses of also seemed clean and nicely appointed - similar to ours.
Originally we had planned to eat at many places around Coron, but after finding the Village Lodge café we ate all of our meals there. Both of us loved the food, and found the portion sizes and the prices to be very reasonable. We particularly enjoyed taking our meals in the outdoor patio/garden area, which we found to be perfect to our liking.
We enjoyed meeting and talking to Bec D. Fernandez (owner), who introduced herself to us, and even recognized us by name, city, and country – a nice touch that indicates the level of service that both her and her staff endeavor to provide. While we were there they arranged a day-long boat tour for us that we both thoroughly enjoyed. We had a great picnic lunch (food provided by Village Lodge Café) on a relatively small and private beach (very nice). We found that we had nothing to worry about during our stay, and they even arranged for an airport van (inexpensive) to pick us up on our departure day.
Overall we found Coron to be inexpensive, fun, and extremely memorable – probably our favorite part of our 4-week vacation to the Philippines.
For that, we offer special thanks to the owner and staff of the Village Lodge.
For anyone checking out their website and considering them as a place to stay while in Coron, we would definitely recommend them – and further, we definitely recommend visiting Coron!

Village Lodge
We arranged a tour package with Palawan Wonder Tours, Inc. and we have no choice re accommodation at Village Lodge. The place is just right for those who will not really stay there that long. Coron has water shortage especially when there's no electricity. Village Lodge served good food. It is located at the heart of the town proper that's why it's near computer shops (you'll be able to upload your photos online, asap), spa, and souvenir shops.

Home away from Home
Village Lodge is a old home which was converted into a guesthouse. The basic amenities that the not so choosy travellers require are provided such as TV, own toilet and bath and spacious room for a family of four.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
I guess (since we're on package tour) that the cost would not be too much.
Unique Quality: The place is very homely. It has a restaurant and is near the town, everything is just walking distance or a tricycle ride away. Nearby souvenir shops are also operating there.

A Home away from Home
I did not regret staying at The Village Lodge. It has 20 rooms and is located at the center of the town. The place is very homely, complete with basic amenities (hot and cold shower, tv with cable), clean bed and linen, spotless restroom and the staff are warm and accommodating. We had a busted light and within 3 minutes someone is knocking at our door for the replacement.
Location is within 5 minutes from the pier and town market. Walking distance from the police station and church. There is an internet cafe and souvenir shop across the street. It also has a restaurant within its vicinity.
They allowed us to stay until 10pm with only half-day additional room rental. Others would have charged rent good for another day.
Unique Quality: Super nice staff especially Nanay Ana
Accessible to the market, pier, church, internet cafe, restaurant
