Villa Hermosa Guesthouse: simple guesthouse

The guesthouse has 5 spacious rooms and 2 of which are A/C rooms with private Toilet and bathroom. Others are fan room and 1 A/C room that share common toilet and bathroom. Rates range from P900.00 to P1300.00 per night. There’s an additional P350.00 for every extra person in A/C room and P250.00 for fan room. A little bit pricey for me. The A/C rooms can accommodate 6 to 8 persons while fan rooms can accommodate up to 4 persons. Everything for me is standard. No dining area but local restaurant can be spotted just right outside.

Coron Reef Calamianes Pension House: standard accommodation for budget traveler

This is for budget traveler located at bankwang area on the way to La Sirenetta Restaurant across Bistro Coron. Everything here is standard but okay for the price. They have fan and A/C rooms and family type accommodation. They have a small dining area facing the sea. They offer buffet for group of 5 for only P180.00 each. You can choose 3 viands your group wants. They have their own boat so island hopping tour can be arranged. They will give the Malcapuya loop tour for only P2500.00 for the small boat. I saw a dive center near it.
You can have an A/C room for only P600.00.

Grand VISta: out of tOWn getaway!

we had a relaxing stay at Grand Vista. The owner is pleasant to the guests and is very efficient in coordinating tours even if you choose the ones apart from what they offer. Gigi, the owner, wants to ensure that their guests leave their place satisfied and happy.

Unique Quality: literally out of town proper.. more like 20 mins away from the town.

tita lilian's place: best accomodation!, best people!

it was the first time i ever went to coron and the homestay with tita lilian was one of the best experience i ever had beside the great outdoors and the nice people. the place is a little hidden from the main road but the view at their balcony is breathtaking!

you can choose from their aircon rooms which is a bit modern and their fan rooms which is made up of bamboo floors and sawali walls which is okay if you want to experience the whole provincial feel. but we opted to use their aircon room bcoz it was the height of summer and so we can have a good nights sleep for our adventures the next day.

we had an extended stay in coron because our flight from cebu pacific was cancelled because of bad weather, (which lasted for only 15mins!!!!) and totally pissed off most of the passengers especially me because airphils express plane left the airport after the rain has stopped for 30mins to an hour. cebu pacific did not even has the decency to provide us with an accomodation, even water because of their cancelled flight. tita lilian was kind enough to allow us to stay in the airconditioned room we rented when she learned of what has happened to us, even though we cannot pay for it because there is only one bank at coron
(and if i can remember it correctly it does not have a atm) and we ran out of cash. she even told us that we can stay for free but we know that it was business and it was peak season so we told her that when we reached manila we will immediately deposit the money to her account. where can you find a person such as she?

Unique Quality: tita lilian and her husband, they are very kind, sweet and hospitable. they live on the first door along the catwalk like type bridge, even their helpers boyet and del are very nice and kind even though they are just kids.

tita lilian's place is a very well situated because it is near the public market, the church, mt. tapyas ( coz its near we went there twice) even the cebu pacific office. they can even prepare our trip around coron.

the accomodations they offer are:
airconditioned room # 1 shared t&b with fan room #2 - both good for 5 pax
airconditioned room # 2 with t&b - good for 5 pax
fan room #1 - good for 5 pax

- it has a balcony over looking the sea (where we usually eat)
- a kitchen (where you can cook your food or you can ask tita lilian to cook for you which of course you have to pay for)
- a dining area
- you can even use their tv with cable for free
- it also has a terrace-cum-dock where we were picked up for our tour around the islands of coron

we stayed on the aircon rm for php1500 a night and the fan rooms are even less than php1000 but that was april of 2009

El Rio y Mar Resort: Where the River meets the Sea

If I am to ask the best accommodation in Coron/Busuanga area, I will say it's El Rio y Mar Resort. As the name says, it's where the river meets the sea. The resort is surrounded by mangroves where guests can kayak. El Rio y Mar has three types of accommodation: native cabana, cedar cabana and the newest, Casa morena. If you are a couple going to the resort, I recommend you stay in the cedar cabana because of it's inviting ambiance. I recommend this resort to people who want to have a very relaxing vacation because you will not only enjoy here, you'll also get the value of your money through their services.

Unique Quality: They have an infinity pool (i like it! ), kiddie pool, Port Caltom's Reef Bar (where you can lounge and drink your heart out), mouthwatering cuisine (i swear!), and most specially, the BEST staff!

El Rio y Mar staff will surely pamper you during your stay in the resort.

granvista & castaway: the best accom

i highly recommend this accom to everybody who wants to go to coron whether you are alone, for couple, with friends and families...this is the best place for you if you really want the serenity and peaceful place....
very relaxing and you will have a privacy....

Coron Castaway: Coron's best nature resort

We had a great time! So much space, great views and many fun things to do for free. Cost of accommodation was next to nothing.

Unique Quality: Staying on a secluded island surrounded by nature, the sea, the forest and mountains was a wonderful experience. Huts were made of native materials -- bamboo sidings, wooden slab flooring and roof made of palm leaves was cool and relaxing. Many free things to do like native boat paddling, swiming around the abandoned hut at sea and just taking it easy.
