Ralphs Pension Coron: Budget accomodation in Coron

It was a pleasant stay at Ralph's Pension House. Rate was 1,000 pesos per day for 2 person. The location was quite convenient to get ready for island hopping since it's only few steps to pier. Staffs are friendly and would assist you in recommending a better itineraries for the day.

Unlimited coffee in the pantry area and its self service.

I had the contact details of the owner of this place but misplaced for some reason. I will update this review once i find it.

The Inn is a residential place where the owner occupied the 2nd floor (3 storey building). And he requires all guest to take the shoes off before entering the main door to maintain cleanliness.

I recommend you to request for the ground floor rooms. Its more convenient to go in out in your room.

overnight stay: unsatisfied stay at LM & Pe Inn

We were there last week ( IST WEEK OF OCTOBER 2010) as first timer in coron, we thought it was the cheapest inn we found beside the location is great, near the market and terminal area, but the room is totally DISGUSTING! we booked for the room with c.r and aircon (they only had one room with that facilities), but sad to say the electric fan is much better and cooler than their ac room, no trash can, they provide only 1 towel for 2 person, noisy place since all tricycles and vehicles passing through the area, the c.r is only divided by curtain, and bonus of cockroach!!! The rate is P1,000/night which is not WORTH IT! the only consolation we got is their staff who at least trying to make an action to our complains but they only TRIED! next day we found out that many lodges or inns is cheaper and with best facilities. I will not recommend this inn to any of my friends who are planning to visit the beautiful coron island.

Coron Reef Pension House: Coron on a budget

This is a budget hostel therefore one shouldn’t expect too much. There is no 24 hour room service, plus the front desk person often times is not on her desk. You get what you pay for. For 600 pesos a night, you get an airconditioned room to sleep on, with no tv, Plainly a bed and comfort room. Well, one wouldn’t need to stay in a luxurious resort when going to coron since most of your trips would be spent outside. Most of the activities would require snorkeling and strenuous activities, so when you reach your hotel, one would just be ready for slumber and dreams. The owner of this hostel is very accommodating and nice, ate chinnette. She would usually take time to chat with you and warn you about dangers of coron, and sometimes give you free delicacies. During my stay she gave us free puto and kutchinta. She also gave us discounts for our boat tour since she owns 6 of it

LM & Pe Inn (annex): One of the Cheapest, but one of the best

If ever you need a place to stay in Coron, Palawan, please consider staying in LM& Pe. It is a nice place to stay, especially for those who are in limited budget. It is just beside the Public market so everything that you might need is just a stone throw away. The staffs are nice. the will accommodate your needs promptly, We had our room for 800 pesos only, with aircon and good for four persons. It is above the L M pe bakery where you can see Baby Pe, hehehe, we really had a great time there, anyways, who needs a luxurious place wherein you will be out most of the day exploring the whole beauty of Coron has to offer.

Mt. Tapyas Hotel: Great service. Great Location.

We had a very comfortable stay in this hotel. We felt right at home. The room is small but very clean and fairly new. We got the mountain view room and I had to laugh when I looked out the window and saw - instead of mountain peaks at a distance which I had already envisioned- a rather close-up view of a mountain slope. Seriously, the mountain was right outside...lol. Anyway, view or no view, the room is affordable at 1,045 (net) a night. The bayview rooms I think cost around 1,250/night. Of course, there's room service. The staff was very attentive to our needs. You could have your meals brought to your room or even just a cup of hot water. I'm sorry I don't have photos of the hotel to share but check out their website below.

Unique Quality: They have a spacious rooftop restaurant with a fantastic view of the town and Coron Bay. They also have rooftop massage rooms also overlooking the bay. When we tried their massage, it was already late at night so we didn't get to enjoy the view but it's still heavenly to end the day with a relaxing Shiatsu massage (Swedish massage also available; either one for only 350/hr). Also, this hotel offers wifi service (not sure if it's free) and FREE transfers from and to the airport which could save you P300.

Princess of Coron: A Hideaway in Coron

Currently the most expensive hotel in Coron. The rates start at P1500 for an airconditioned room and queen size bed with t&b, and goes up to P1800 for the bigger rooms. There's a garden upon entering the grounds. The rooms are clean and the building itself is fairly new. There is no restaurant in the hotel or the area. It is a block from one of the main roads where a tricycle (P8 per ride) needs to be taken in order to get to one of the main streets to go out.

Unique Quality: There is a pool, but there's no water in it at the moment.
