Puerto Aventura Beach Resort: Native Accomodations

This resort is right on the beach in PPC. The accomodations/facilities are native with own bath. The best thing about this place is the sandbar, and the beach access.
It also has a pool and tennis court.
I would recommend this place to people who are looking for native style accomodations, as their rooms do not have air-conditioner or hot water.
For the price it's a good deal.

Great Sunsets!

Asia World Resort Hotel: Good Convention Place

I came to this 4-star hotel because my dad has a convention there and we stayed for a week. It has big spacious rooms and airy lobby.

The most striking feature of this hotel for me is the Olympic size swimming pool and the huts. Nobody seems to be using it.

Niko's Cabanas: Beautiful Surroundings

After staying at 2 other hotels, I found Niko's Cabanas to be an unexpected surprise. The location was far enough from the city to not hear all of the commotions, but yet just 5 to 10 minutes away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious with hot water shower, and air-conditioner. What I really liked the best about this place was that I didn't have to go up stairs or use an elevator to get to the pool or the restaurant. Everything is right outside your room. The garden setting is just beautiful. Beautiful nights and wonderful mornings.
I would definitely go back and I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Garden type setting. Pool with a kiddie pool. Restaurant. I had a Manicure while drinking a glass of wine in one of the Gazebos.

Puerto Pension: Palawan, Philippines

It was our first time in Palawan... the whole clan complete with grandparents and our kids - a 5 yr old and a 15 months old.

Ms. Bel, one of the staff was very nice. She made recommendations - tours / restaurats / kid's food, etc that was really good. She arranged for the tours as well. She gave us tips on the trips and how to get around. Good people really makes a difference.

The rooms were small but clean and comfy. Breakfast was filling and on time.

Only one minor setback. Lunch at the restaurant of Puerto Pension (Tribu) took a while to be served. Food was ok, but it took almost an hour for them to serve the food.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Puerto Pension. Ms. Bel and the rest of the staff made all the difference.

The place is also near the promenade near the seashore if you'd want to take a walk.

Asturias: Beautiful Hotel, Bad accomodation

My experience with this hotel, well wasn't that pleasant. The rooms have a very cold feel to them, not at all comforting. The beds are a good size but, the matressess are so thin that I think the floor would have been a better choice. The bathroom did not seem very clean. Other than that, the staff was pleasant, the pool very enticing, and the location was great. For the price, they could have done more.

The pool was a good size and the facilities were nice. I liked the fact that there is a restaurant (2), a gift shop, and a bar with pool table and entertainment.
