Hotel Marquis, Pampanga, Angeles City: Personable Hotel

There are many hotels with a wide range of prices in the area, within 5-15 minutes of Clark depending on traffic. I see you had an answer on the Clarkton, which is a nice German run hotel, catering to German tourists seeing the red-light district in Angeles, and others.
The Phoenix Hotel is also a good smaller hotel.
My favorite is the Hotel Marquis. It has a great restaurant/bar with entertainment on Friday nights, with a buffet. The staff are great and the rooms are a good size, and clean. The prices ranged from about 1400 to 2500 a couple of months ago.
The food is a cut above most of the area hotels.

Pool is not large, with a fairly small garden seating area surrounding it, next to an excellent bar/restaurant. Across the street is another part of the hotel, with an air-conditioned restaurant.
Not far from major road, but far enough away where the noise from the trikes is not bad.
Great staff and management. They will go out of their way to do whatever they can to help you out.

Tiger Hotel: Nice value for money hotel

It was a comfortable experience staying in this hotel. I paid just $24 per night. Good service, they clean room every day and replace towels. Room was not that big but it has all the necessities like TV, refrigerator, AC, wardrobe and water dispenser. It is a bit off Fields Avenue and therefore save you from night chaos going on along the Avenue. If you are driving, access to the hotel is a bit challenge. You have to manage getting to the hotel by competing with Jeepneys and tricycles.

blu bianco suites: living in airforce city

blu bianco is a former military barracks, which has three floors. the rooms are big. they are separated into two divisions - one is the living/kitchen/toilet/bath with a working refrigerator and one is the bedroom with another set of couch, TV and big dresser and cabinet. the price is around P1,200 a night. it's a simple but comfortable place to stay.

Hotel Gracelane: Best boutique hotel

Despite its boutique hotel status, it offers the feeling of homey serenity in the midst of City of San Fernando business district in the province of Pampanga. Interior is rich with murals, pocket gardens, tasteful seasonal decors and a sprawling, green, meditation garden. Often the favorite location for wedding or christening receptions, religious meetings, and business conferences.

A set breakfast is included with a guest's stay, however, choice of breakfast is not a luxury.

Staff is very friendly and very generous in smiles :)

Hotel has very relaxing ambience, al fresco dining, well manicured gardens.
