Puerto Del Sol
Hotel resort is very nice. The mediterrenean inspired villas is a pleasure to behold. The garden is well kept and the grass is all green.
Facilities wise, the hotel is good.
Bad is the service. Staff are not well trained. They will walk past you without even saying "hi", "good morning" or "welcome". Professional courtesy coming from the security personnel is lacking. Restaurant staff will not refill buffet unless you tell them to do so.
Food is...so, so.
Overall, the hotel has good facilities, bad service.... hence, price is not worth it considering the bad service.
Oh, by the way, the place is very very verrrrrrrrry far. All that hours of land travel is not worth it. There is nothing much to see. I suggest you go to Batangas instead.

yes, i'd definitely recommend the place though i'm quite sure it would be the most expensive resort in bolinao during peak seasons. we got to stay in puerto del sol when they had a promo; so our expenses summed up as if we stayed in a resort of "average" category. (the price i've quoted below is for a 3-day/2-night stay per person) they've got very courteous and friendly staff who really know how to make their guests feel special and make the stay a very memorable one. the place IS squeaky clean.
Unique Quality: loved the place as a whole, a sure feast for the senses! you'd never want to stop taking photos. the view from the terrace of our room could make one just stare out into sea the whole afternoon. their barbecue dinner along the beach is something worth doing over and over; it was just so relaxing. candlelight, great food, soft sound of waves that are just a few feet away, and of course, a bottle of cold beer. can't get anything better than that! to tickle your taste buds some more, their breakfast buffet is a must-try! definitely your money's worth.

Puerto del Sol, a Botique Resort
The resort is very strict on occupancy and no food from the outside is allowed. Food in the restaurant is good, just be prepared to wait for quite a long time. Although we ordered our food 2 hours ahead and asked to be served at 7pm, the food arrived at 8pm! Bathroom in the studio unit is very small.
Unique Quality: The resort is well maintained. The beach is clean and on high tide, you can swim on the ocean but come low tide, you'll only have the pool and the jacuzzi.
