Punta Riviera Resort: Bolinao: Where The River Meets The Sea

by cyndymc

Punta Riviera Resort, made famous for the tagline: "Where the river meets the sea" treated us to a different kind of experience offered by tranquil Ilog Malino and the China Sea, and the warm hospitality of its owners.

We were given a P1,000 discount (plus 10% tax) off the normal rate (P5,000+) for a Sunset Room near the river. It was off peak season when we went there. The accommodation rates included free Pinoy Breakfast (could be upgraded to American Breakfast); free 30-minute use of kayak, pool table and table tennis; free use of swimming pools and beach; free use of dvd's, free use of games and sports facilities including volleyball.

Great view of the sea and Ilog Malino; clear infinity pool; clean kiddie pool; beautifully landscaped garden; excellent and personalized customer service; pricey but delicious food; guarded parking area; coin operated Videoke/Karaoke; great river kayaking experience; awesome sunset at the seaside and sunrise at riverside; wide choice for type of room accommodation; Meeting Rooms and Conference Hall; well-lit and guarded compound in the evening; room service for massage, manicure and pedicure, etc.

villa milagros pension house: great view of the islands

by zephyrgurl108

the tallest building on the block, villa milagros offers a comfortable accomodation when visiting hundred islands. climb on top of the roof for a nice view of sunrise.
the building is fairly new, the water flow in the bathroom is strong, there's AC and TV no cable though. the beds are comfy. they give you toiletries and towels. registration is easy. i dont think they accept credit cards though.
the room we got was good for 4 - it has one large bed and a bunker bed.

it's near the wharf, and it's the tallest building ont he block offering a great view of the islands from afar.

R&L Transient Rooms: Hundred Island, Alaminos, Pangasinan

by kickasskim

Their rooms are very good! All of the basic necessities are there. Since there are more than 10 of us we had the room w/ a bunk bed, queen size bed and 2 extra foams. We also have a basic bathroom, TV (no cable though) and a very cool aircon which are very very convenient for us. The kitchen is outside (common) and there are kubos for you to grill meats and to have drinks. We had these accomodations for 2,700 a night.

You can also set island hopping w/ them. A big boat cost 1,100. They tour you around the different islands. They let you choose and island you would like to stay and swim at and then they will schedule a pick up time.

The transient is also near the market where you can get your souveniers or pasalubongs. Across the market is the big sign of 'Welcome to Hundred Islands' were we had our pictures taken a hundred times! hehehe...

- Good location
- Clean rooms
- reasonable prices
- Very very accomodating staff!!! Especially Ms. Lovely! (thats her name)
- Free parking

Boating World Amianan: San Fabian the best beach in Northern Pangasinan

by born_lippy

Highly recommended for outdoor parties. Cabin type rooms thats along the pool and beach. This is the only accomodation that offers jetski.

Two swimming pools for kids and adults. Whats great about this place is its location, its along the seashore and away from crowded cottages. Aside from its huge cottages with videoke, the rooms are enclosed in a trailer-type cabin. Common bathroom is clean. So its really cool staying here.
