Astoria Plaza: Condotel and Apartelle
one of the popular condotels in the ortigas area providing standard rooms and one to two bedroom fully furnished suites with many amenities at cheaper rates than the famed Edsa Shangrila
Unique Quality: 2 lcd tv in vedroom and living room, a fully furnished kitchen with microwave and induction cooker and refrigrator, living and dining room and a king size bed.

Crowne Plaza: Anchor Hotel of the Robinson's Group
is one of the fine hotels in the ortigas area that rivals the famous edsa shangrila nearby.

Astoria Plaza Hotel: Service Apartment and Hotel
You can choose from the usual studio room (25-30 sqm) and 1 (60-72sqm) -2 bedrooms with kitchen, dining and living room. Two TVs (one in the bedroom and one in the living room) and split type A/Cs for your use. Fully functional kitchen includes cookware, microwave, coffee and tea maker, refrigerator and a 4-burner stove.
This is perfect for those who in travel in groups, like families or group of friends, who can easily choose to cook their own meals.

EDSA PLAZA (Shangri-la): The best in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila
My mom and her friends have produced a concert and staged it here. It was held at the grand ballroom. It was well attended. The people enjoyed the facilities as well as the concert. They were raving that the service and the food was great. By the way, EDSA Plaza is noted for that. Good food and service.
Regarding rooms, they are all very comfy and you can have personalized service is also available. The 24 hour food service helps a lot for wee hour hunger pangs.
I also love hanging out at the lobby when I get the chance. The atmosphere is so good.
Regarding hosting events: it's one of the favorite venues. =)
