Boardwalk Resort: Siargao Island Cloud 9 Accomodation
We stayed at the Boardwalk Resort at Cloud 9 for one week and it was fantastic. The location is the best on the island with views from our room and the restaurant straight to Cloud 9 surfing spot. The Beachfront room is modern and clean and very well priced. The staff and management are very helpful and organised everything for you from motorbike & surfboard hire to day trips around the island. The food in the restaurant is not expensive but offers a wide range of western style food and local style.
I can recommend anyone going to Siargao stay at the Boardwalk resort, it made our holiday so much better.
great views, nice restaurant, nice rooms

Island Dream Resort, Siargao: Great place and reasonable price
My girlfriend and I stayed thier for 2 days. It's been a very relaxing experience. Our accomodation are clean and beautiful, the price is good. Also personels are helpful. The Dream Villa in which we are into is very romantic, the tub is very big, more like a small private pool. I really appreciate how they assist us in getting good deals with the island tours. Thanks a lot for the wonderful experience. One thing though they are still working in thier garden..
Great staff, nice pool and accomodations are wonderful..

Ocean 101Resort: siargao nice place!
Nice place to stay and very reasonable. From the airport to cloud 9 was P300($7.00) and make sure that you get the guys number so you dont have to pay over P1000! on the way back. Clean rooms a non aircon room facing the beach was about $22.00 US. However the same room facing another direction was $13.00 but whatever. Food was VERY reasonable to western standards $2-$6 for a meal. There was a nice recreation area to hang out in with a nice LCD, pool table ect. You can rent surfboards here, motorbikes for about10.00 I thought this was a bit much but no worries. The staff was VERY friendly and the view is beautiful. There are two bahay kubo type cabanas out near the water with hammocks. PERFECT!
I will upload pictures shortly

Jadestar Lodge: Siargao's Friendly Accommodation
Jadestar Lodge is a nice & friendly accommodation. You can order your food there with minimal charge including lobsters. For a room with aircon & bath good for 6, the rate is P1500. They also have a room good for 2 costing P800. You can negotiate with their prices. You can also hire a van for airport transfer costing P1500/way or tour around the island visiting various tourist spots for P3500. They have their own pumpboat for 3 island tours (Dacu, Guyam & Naked Islands) for P1500. If including Sohoton Cove, that would be P4T. For our last day, we went back to Dacu Island, my fave spot for P500 only.
Warm & friendly owners.

kalinaw resort on siargao island: New luxury resort in siargao
Kalinaw resort is a new luxury resort on siargao. The design and the comfort of the accomodations is amazing and huge.
The cuisine is also one of the attraction of the place. Very good mix between local and european food and amazing wood oven pizza.
It is nice to wake up and watch the lagoon from your kingsize bed. The Bathroom is really nice and modern. The rain hot shower is something unique.

Shat's Guest House: Hospitality in Gen Luna
This is a place you can also call your home. The owners are very friendly and hospitable.
It is accessible to Cloud 9 and restaurants for a budget traveller who can't afford the expensive accommodation in the Cloud 9 area.

Jadestar Beach Resort: Siargao's Affordable (But Nice) Resort
This resort was affordable, considering we got an airconditioned room good for 6 people at Php1,500 per day. They had a dining area, but believe me you would rather eat at their beach hut. You could buy food at the market, and have them cook it. Or you could also order food directly from them. The owners are nice and very hospitable. They even helped us book the 3-Island tour at only Php1,000 for the whole 3 islands.
The resort had a hut standing on the beach where you could have your meals served. The hut also had a hammock. You could actually stay there for hours.

Shat's Guest House: Cheap Accommodation
My boyfriend & I didnt actually stay here but when we arrived in Siargao, we tried to scout for cheaper accommodations and SHAT's is one of the best options if u are a budget traveler. It's not very near Cloud 9 but with the availability of habal habal, getting to Cloud 9 for surfing isnt difficult. Its just a P10 ride. The cheapest cottage here is P500/day (non aircon for 2 pax already). U can also choose to stay in the attic P150 per person/day (mattresses provided). Not bad at all, we saw it already.

Luxury Resort: Pansukian Tropical Resort
Pansukian Tropical Resort is probably the most expensive resort in the Province. It is situated in General Luna , farther than most of the resorts. It is a beachfront resort facing nearby islets of GL. If you stay at Pansukian, you'll have everything you need..good food, drinks, good ammenities, watersports, speed boat and everything. You just have to stay in the resort as it is pricey, be sure to make the most out of every dollar.. everything in the resort is world class.. Pansukian has a Thai inspired architecture and their rates include fullboard meals. Rates are per person basis per night from $130 up to $350. Yes it is expensive but wait till you see their presidential suite. It's definitely world class! Pansukian is a luxury resort and most approriate for honeymooners or for people who need privacy, silence and extravagance.

Government owned Resort: Cabuntog Beach Resort
Cabuntog beach resort is one of the popular beach front resorts in General Luna, its government owned. Surely staff will accommodate anything you need..They don't have the regular menu for food but you can request any for your meals. Prices are reasonable. Rooms are simple, don't expect too much though since everything is just ordinary. Cottages are air-conditioned and they have a bunkhouse for those who just need fan-cooled rooms. You can ask staff to arrange things for you in the island like getting a boat for island hopping or a van for island tours. Look for Miriam, she runs the resort. Rates are from P880-P5000. If you want to bring your barkada, they have cottages that can accommodate 10 persons and 20 persons. The resort is good for company outings, family reunions and barkada outings... if you're not very particular with amenities, you'll find Cabuntog Resort good enough.

Cherinicole Resort: Most Reasonable Place to Stay in Siargao
We arrived on the afternoon of the 14th of April 2006 in Siargao. We stayed at Cherinicole Resort, which is located in the town of General Luna. A typical provincial town, “GL”, as the locals call it, is home to most of the resorts in the island. Except for Pansukian Resort (which charges dollar rates), Cherinicole has probably the best accommodations and facilities. It has air con cottages, a large restaurant, and a swimming pool, if you happen to get tired of the beach. It has a wide enough beach front, although, it’s a bit rocky with a number of corals. A hundred meters away, though, there is a public beach which is all sand and which remains shallow even as you go further from the shoreline.

Ocean 101: Ocean 101
We stayed in Ocean 101 for 2 nights. Our stay was great! Food is good. Quite costly but servings were very big. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. One night cost 1200 for 3 persons. The place is a quick 5 minutes walk to Cloud 9's tower. They also have a little hut for people to hangout in, which had 1 hammock and benches on the side. Our boat ride from siargao to surigao was at 5:00 am. Hosts woke up at 3am to wake us up and prepare our breakfast. If ever i had the chance to go back to Siargao, i'd definitely stay in Ocean 101 again.
Very clean rooms and bathrooms. They had a billiards table, huge TV with cable in the dinning area, several surfboards for display and for sale. Love the hammock in the hut with a view of the ocean and waves. People are very accommodating and speak well both in English and Filipino.

Villa Ernesto Resort: Villa Ernesto Resort
We had the whole resort to ourselves. Owner Sim Castrence is very accommodating. He helped me plan this trip from the boat schedules to which islands to visit. The resort is quite far from the famous Cloud 9. You need to schedule trips with the habal-habal drivers as to when he'll pick you up and bring you to certain places.
Place is OK but is quite far from the market, cloud9, restaurants, etc...
Accommodation is cottage type. We took the aircon room which cost us 1600 per night. There were 6 single beds inside and a bathroom. Villa Ernesto had a nice hangout place, which is a hut by the shore. There were rocking chairs and hammocks to relax on. The beach in front is not really for swimming since there were many dead seaweeds. However, you still had a great view of the three islands - naked, dako and guyam islands.
