Blue Rock Resort: Baloy's Good Value Resort

We had a pleasant stay at Blue Rock Resort in Baloy Beach, only 5 minutes drive from Barrio Barretto's entertainment district. The resort provided us with 2 double beds good for 4 persons. This cost us P1430 without breakfast. Room and bathroom size is ok. The resort is very popular with foreign tourists. It has a wide and long beachfront with huts along the shoreline. The sand is grayish. You can have a nice view of the Subic Bay. SR/DR/fan/bath P500, SR/DR/ac/bath P700-P2000, depending on location and size. Good rooms, the better ones (refrigerator, TV, veranda) are directly on the beach. Restaurant. It also has Johan's Adventure and Wreck Dive Center located on the premises.

Bar, Restaurant, Beach Resort, Dive Shop etc.

CLUB MOROCCO: CLUB MOROCCO

Club Morocco is a resort/residential estate constructed in Mediterranean style. Back in 2002, the road going to the place was rough and dusty (I hope that has changed) but once you arrive, it's a different scene altogether.

They have several villas, well-designed, well-furnished. The pool is really nice, and there are other amenities like basketball court, tennis court, billiards, bowling, gym, spa, and a playground. When we were there, we did not eat at their restaurant at all, but looked for places to eat in the surrounding areas.

Be warned that the beach is not really good for swimming. We never checked it out when we were there...

Mediterranean-inspired villas.

By The Sea Resort: Rigid Booking Rule

Actually I'm planning for by trip and leaving for PH this 01 April2006. However I noticed this resort, which is mid-high end insisting me to deposit the full payment due to Holy Week celebration although they accept Credit Card normally.
Why this standard. THis is making overseas traveller like myself difficult to book and plan my holidays.
So I decided either to try my luck and walk in on that day or to skip the resort altogether as the staff is not so helpful in my booking with this rigid rules.
I really dont mind spending more on better hotels in Subic if i really need to...

Anyone has similar experience with this resort, or whether they tried walking in without booking in this resort, pls drop me an email or comment?

Subic Homes: It's A Whole New Lifestyle

This is a good accommodation when you're in Subic. A very peaceful and safe place to stay in. It's like your home away from home.

It's best to make reservations in advance by giving them a cal and doing an advance payment via bank transfer since most of the time they are fully booked. Since they have limited no. of houses for rent, other houses are owned.

Checj in time is 2PM. Check out is 2PM.

You ahve your own kitchen. Living room. very spacious rooms. swimming pool that is free of use. basketball, and other recreation courts also free of use. Aircon. You can chose from 2-4 beadrooms per unit. It's like a village/subdivision.

You will be needign a transportation to bring you around Subic.

Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Housing: Peaceful, isolated housing in Subic

The house is centrally airconditioned, has two bedrooms that can fit three each, two comfort room/baths with hot water, cabled T.V., and a fully-equipped kitchen. It costs PHP4000 per day. Considering that it can sleep 6 people, and that those staying can cook food, I think that the price is reasonable. It's in a residential area and near Brent International School. It's very peaceful the whole day. It's quite far from the everything else (e.g. beach, commercial areas, restaurants) so bring transportation if you want to stay here.

Forest Hills: 3-bedroom houses for rent in Subic

We stayed at Forest Hills last April 2. We were a big group so we occupied five houses. Our guests loved it and they said they would bring their families over once they return to Subic. The houses have all the amenities of a hotel but with a more relaxed and cozy ambiance. For about P4,800 a night for six pax, Forest Hills would definitely be a great weekend hideaway for the family or for the barkada.

Forest Hills is a huge compound of three-bedroom townhomes about 10 minutes away from Subic Freeport Zone's fun district. As the name suggests, it rests in the forested area of Subic. It's like living in a subdivision -- with wide paved roads, swimming pools, a convenience store, children's playground, and conference rooms. The houses have centralized aircon, a tv with cable service, a fully-equipped kitchen, a living room, a master's bedroom with bath and a separate rest room. The bedrooms have two single beds.

Legenda Hotel: Legenda Hotel inside SBMA

Legenda Hotel would probably be the finest hotel in Subic.
Great location as its near the boardwalk, a casino inhouse, there is a free shuttle from the SBMA gate 24/7.
The bedrooms are nice, as well as its bathroom. I stayed there for 2 nights and its a great experience.
Service is excellent, and on the lobby lounge, I enjoy the halo halo delight being offered as snacks.
The hotel is also 15 minutes away from the airport, and at times hotel provide free shuttle.

Accommodation at the Subic Freeport

Subic's accommodation is distinctly up market, catering to wealthy locals, visiting businessmen and Asian tourist. The newly completed Subic Legenda has now joined Subic International, Subic Bay Hotel and Crown Peak Gardens. Expect 5 star luxuries and be prepared to pay at 2,000 pesos above.... or beach cottage...

They also have a condominium type accommodation or rented houses for you in Forrest Hill, Binictican and Cubi Point. They had rooms with bathroom and all air-conditioned for you to rent just go to information building inside SBMA for more information.
