CHEAPEST IN TOWN
Duchess Pension House has been around for years and is still the cheapest in the city. In the original old wooden building rooms are basic with separate showers, but in the newer concrete building you can find rooms with bathroom and a/c should you require a little more luxury.

A Nice Little Budget Inn
Hotel staff were nice and very accommodating to us when we stayed there. The front desk staff even allowed us to hang out in the dining area until late hours one evening.
The room in which we stayed was very simple. There was a working air conditioning unit, but no TV. We had wanted to request for a bug spray to fumigate our room (there were mosquitoes), but opted not to as there were no staff awake that time.
Rooms don't include breakfast.

Cheap and clean
Tiny rooms from 200 Pesos, aircon from 750 Pesos, close to the center.
