Tahanan ni Aling Meding: Great Place, Great Food, Great View!

I did not personally stay in this place because there was no need for me to check in. (Our house is only less than 2 hours away from San Pablo City.) I am posting this review in response to a request to check it out. Actually, Tahanan ni Aling Meding Hotel & Restaurant is known to hubby's photo buddies who had to stay overnight for an early photo shoot.

When we went to Sampaloc Lake to look for it, we realized we've seen it in the past; only, it wasn't open to the public yet. The mansion is owned by Rafael and Remedios Borja of San Pablo City. The mansion was originally planned to be the vacation and retirement home for their 11 children who are based in the USA.

The Borja siblings later decided to open the mansion doors to guests, and named it Tahanan ni Aling Meding Hotel & Restaurant as tribute to their mother Remedios, fondly called Meding. It was their way of honoring her for raising 11 of them all so well.

Guests of Tahanan ni Aling Meding experience living in the mansion like it was their very own, and having the feel of the hospitality of San Pabloenos. While dining or relaxing, guests are treated to a fantastic view of legendary Sampaloc Lake and the mystical Mt. Banahaw from the hotel.

Tahanan ni Aling Meding: 'your Home by the Lake'

The memories and time i stayed at tahanan was uncomparable. I'm accomodated with very personalized service with their hospitable and courteous staff. The feeling was i'm at my mansion - very homy!..i had a great stay!

I'm greatful and blessed to stay in Tahanan ni Aling Meding, standing at the front of your room's window and opening the sliding door to the wide balcony you will see the perfect panorama of Sampaloc Lake, trees and mountains, everything was perfectly planned, they have unique and lovely garden and surroundings, the nostalgic heritage, the peace and tranquility.

Casa San Pablo: Country Inn at the heart of San Pablo

Had product launch there. Different room style, but mostly group room that can accommodate up to 6 person per room or house.

Okay for indoor and outdoor company activities.

Tahanan ni Aling Meding: Fronting Sampaloc Lake

This used to be an ancestral home of an old family in San Pablo whose family members are now living in the US. They converted their family home to a hotel which has the nice panoramic view, not only of the Sampaloc Lake but also of Mt. San Cristobal and Mt. Banahaw. The hotel is located at the heart of San Pablo City near the City Hall.

Great view of the Sampaloc Lake
