which is better Leyte Park Resort or Hotel Alejandro?

Hi everyone!
My friends and I are going to Tacloban for the first time on July 3-5. Can you please help me to choose between Leyte Park Resort and Hotel Alejandro. There's so little comments/feedback regarding these two. Please help!

If you ask me I would rather stay at the Hotel aLejandro. Its much cleaner. We have to check out of Leyte park resort after an hour and moved to Hotel alejandro in downtown. I have 2 kids and they were terrified because of the condition. We came from Boracay and we were expecting similar accomadation. Its really bad.

I wouldn't know better. The pictures of Leyte Park Resort seems to be grand. Thanks for the advice =)

Well I have stayed at the Hotel Alejandro a few nights, and everything was great. The service was fine, and the hotel was very clean. They have a restaurant inside the hotel and it was very classy with the waitor maybe being a little too attentive.Oh and I might point out there were a couple of other families with kids in the restaurant having dinner one night. And of course its centrally located in the center of the city. Now Leyte Park Resort, well I just stopped by to relax and had an ice cream and some iced tea. From what I saw looked good, but the price did seem a little too high (for the area) as I inquired about the nightly rates.Also its not in the city. So with kids I would go for the sure thing, the Hotel Alejandro.
