Sunrise at Tagaytay
by victorwkf
I was very fortunate to catch a beautiful sunrise at Tagaytay in May 2006. You need to wake up very early, about 5.45am onwards to be able to catch the sun rising and shinning its rays onto the Taal Lake and volcano. More photographs of the sunrise are at the travelogue section of this VT page.
Interesting basin at Leslie's Restaurant
by victorwkf
There is an interesting washing basin at the toilet of Leslie's Restaurant (see photo). It is actually a traditional water pump with a handle as the tap. In order to turn on the tap, the switch is actually at the bottom side, and not by pumping the water pump which I did but later found out it was wrong! Very interesting indeed :)
Practice photography

Be D._Pepper's travel buddy and take his pictures so he does the same with you. It's the best way to experiment and learn photography skills.
Thank you for being a great buddy, D! And oh, thank you for the birthday present :-)

Sonya's (Secret) Garden
by talullah
I thought of adding this tip under the "Restaurant" category but the place calls for special mention. For all the guys who really want to prove that they're the romantic type, take your special someone for a scrumptious lunch or dinner at the secluded Sonya's Garden. Don't just enjoy the food, but make sure you take in the beauty of the well-kept garden. Make it a point to visit the washrooms as well as it's an experience in itself.
