Nice Place for a Quick Weekend Getaway

We stayed here May 6-7, 2012 using a voucher from a group buying site. We got a Casitas with Attic accommodation good for 8pax. Since it was a Sun-Mon booking, we had the place all to ourselves -- there were very few guests that time.

From the outside, it seemed like a very small place but it's relatively spacious and relaxing inside the premises. The 2-level room that we booked was clean and pleasant, with bathrooms on both levels. The one on the lower level even had a bathtub. Closet space was ample, and the 3beds are of relatively good quality with 2 pull-outs to accommodate 8 people.

Our room is a very short walk to the pool, with a kid-friendly section. It looks big in the pictures, but it's pretty small -- I would imagine that it'll be crowded during weekends.

Since we got this accommodation through a group-buying site (almost50% off the published rate), we were very happy with the value that we got, especially the room and the breakfast. However if we paid full price, I would be bothered about some of the policies others have mentioned in their reviews: any additional requests (bedsheets, towels, pillows, etc.) have extra charges. Any hotel should provide these amenities at no extra cost.

Overall, I would recommend Hotel Dominique for a quick weekend getaway to just swim and relax -- especially if you're able to snag a group buying deal.

Unique Quality: Free breakfast is a choice between plated American and Filipino fares: our group had both, and both are filling and satisfying. American is a choice of ham/bacon/sausage, eggs, toast, coffee/juice/tea and fruits. Filipino is a choice of tapa/bangus/tocino, eggs, garlic rice, coffee/juice/tea and fruits. We were very happy with our breakfast. :)
