Budget Hotels

There are 2 big budget hotel chains coming up in Singapore, namely Hotel 81 and Fragance Hotel. These 2 hotel chains have several hotels located at the Geylang area which is conveniently located near to the city area. The disadvantage is that there are significant foreign workers in this area, as well as this is the red-light district. More information are at their websites below:

Lion City Hotel

This is one of the older hotels in Singapore and is suitable for the budget traveller at about S$75 per night. It is located along Tanjong Katong Road near the Paya Lebar MRT metro line, and there are shopping centres and eating places all around this hotel.
