Double Superior: Fortuna Hotel

Good value for money especially for Indians. Breakfast is ok. Room & washroom was not clean I could see Hair Strand all over the carpet.No roomservice for lunch or Dinner. Most of the times Operators were unavailable. No swimming Pool. Rooms are small.The only good thing about this Hotel is that it is located near MRT(Ferrar Park) from where you can visit the whole city by Metro service. It is near to MUSTAFA CENTRE and Many Indian Restaurants.

Fortuna Hotel Singapore: Never stay at Fortuna Singapore

Initially when we checked in we thought Fortuna was an average hotel, though we received absolutely no assistance with our luggage and check in. However the 2nd night we found cockroaches crawling around the room and there were tons of small ones in the bathroom. We complained at the reception which was least bothered and just sent someone with a pest control spray to our room.

We obviously didn’t want to sleep in a room with the smell of the spray and so asked for our room to be changed. We were given a much smaller room and the drainage in the bathroom was really bad. To add to our woes once again we found cockroaches in the room...when we complained this time the staff was actually rude and said that they can at best give us another room like they were doing us a favour. They were most unconcerned about the fact that they had insects crawling in their rooms.

Breakfast was the same every day with just about 4-5 items that were barely edible.

The worst part of our stay was definitely the callousness and rudeness of the staff that definitely needs serious lessons in how to behave with customers.

Believe me, you will find much better hotels for the same price so don’t make the mistake of staying at this hotel.

Albert Court Hotel: Within walking distance of Little India

Albert Court is a small hotel facing Serangoon Road. It is a stylish hotel with a nice courtyard.
The rooms are very comfortable. There is a restaurant but no pool.
After entering the front door you sill see an escalator, take it up to the second floor, there you will find the reception desk.

This hotel is just across the bridge from the start of Little India. The side streets are lined with restaurants facing the courtyard. There is a nice glass elevator.

Broadway Hotel: Opposite Serangoon Plaza

This is another 3 star hotel, standing right besides Fortuna Hotel. But it's history is older than the latter.

Broadway hotel has abt 60 odd rooms. Location-wise, it's oretty ideal as you can walk to the Farrer Par k Train Station. Eateries and Mustafa is just a stone throw away.

Fortuna Hotel: Getting more and more popular.

This is a 3 star hotel located opposite Serangoon Plaza. Pretty convenient as it's near Farrer Park MRT Station (North-East Line). They have about 80odd rooms. From my understanding, this hotel can be fully booked at times, esp during deepavali period as there are of visitors.

New Park Hotel: Stay where the ethnic heartbeats are!

If you are looking for a decent hotel in Serangoon, you may consider New Park Hotel. It's under the chain of Parkroyal Hotels & Resorts Group.

It's a fairly large hotels with good dining options. This hotel has 527 rooms and on and off they have room promotions that cost abour $80 - $100 per room per night.
