A Beary Good Hostel

A BEARy Nice Place to Stay!!!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE for people who want a cheap but great place to stay.
**TAKE NOTE: I stayed in BEARY NICE! by A Beary Good Hostel

To make things simple, I'll break it down:

Location: Awesome
It's in the heart of Chinatown. A mere 2 minutes to the MRT. There's a taxi stand a few minutes away and bus stops too! There are eating places all over the place.
There's a LIFT to the 3rd floor (elevator). So no need to lug bags up the stairs.

Cleanliness: Awesome
Bathroom/toilets are clean, guests are respectful and they also keep the place as neat as they found it.
Not a single bug or dust mite to be found.
Shoes are asked to be removed when you enter (so either go barefoot or bring a disposable slipper).

Staff: Awesome
Very friendly. They speak perfect English!!!
It's so easy to talk to them and they're very helpful

Sleeping Quarters:
5 bunkbeds to a room = 10 beds
Each bed has it's own power sockets (2) with it's own reading light
Beddings are clean; 1 pillow, 1 comforter and the mattress is good.
2 ceiling fans + aircon = good air circulation

Eating/Dining area:
Ref available for your food stuff
Free breakfast (cereal, coffee, tea)

Toilets:
Separate areas for men and women.
(I can only speak of the womens side)
It has 2 shower stalls, 1 toilet
1 big mirror, with blowdrier
2 sinks with another mirror on top
Clothes stand for drying towels/hanging clothes
Hot water showers available (but bec of the singapore heat, I'm sure you won't use it)

Lounge/common room:
very colorful
2 laptops available for use
bookshelves with books to borrow
gameboards, big tv and computer games to play with
bears everywhere!

SECURITY:
It's safe.
Key cards are given to each guest which allows you to enter the main area....and gives limited access to the common bedrooms.

**Free WIFI all over the place, including sleeping quarters

TIPS:
Bring your own padlock; sleepmask; universal plug adaptor (I brought 1 that had multiple slots for my many chargers)

Unique Quality: Very friendly place; colorful; highly accessible to everywhere.

Major BIG thumbs up if you need a cheap but nice place to stay.

It's just S$28 dollars per person/night!! :D
