Nice location for backpackers
I did not stay in this guesthouse but I asked for their brochure because its location is great. The prices are extremely low compared to hotels. In 2008, the prices ranged from S$ 12 to S$ 68. Continental breakfast with coffee and tea is complimentary. If you are on a tight budget, I would recommend this place. In summer, be prepared to take their expensive room which has an air-con because it could be very hot inside the rooms with only fans available. The guesthouse is right across the street so if you are easily awakened by noise, better look for another place.
Unique Quality: Convenient location, 5 minutes to Orchard Road shopping belt; cinemas ATM, supermarket are nearby; Provides laundry and left luggage service; 24-hour hot shower.

Average budget city centre accomodation.
Good location in the middle of the city just opposite Bugis junction,only a couple of minutes walk from Raffles. Lockers are provided free the toilets and showers are ok. The dorm room was like a windowless prison cell it only had one light working that happened to be straight above my bed. Free internet sounds good but it is very slow and you have to wait ages to get on due to people spending lots of time in chat rooms.

My friend had a pleasant stay at Backpackers Cozy Corner Guesthouse located just opposite Bugis Junction.
Backpacker Cozy Corner is located in the heart of the city. Best for budget travellers as it is a safe, clean and peaceful with some good food at the coffee shops downstairs.
It is within walking distance to Raffles Hotel, Parco Bugis Junction, Bugis Street, City Hall, Little India, Arab Street.
You can choose to book a room or stay in the dorms.
