Since there is 4 of you, it is better to take a taxis from the Airport to your hotel. The cost is around Singapore dollar $20 -$25 for a normal taxi (not that Merc).
There is a taixs stand in Novena MRT station and taking a taxi to Fragrance rose cost abt S$5.
Please give me recommendation. Budget of 100-150 SGD per night.
Furama City Centre, 60 Eu Tong Sen Street. Near Chinatown and close to excellent public transport. Nice views too.

Try Fragrance hotel, Fragrance Rose at Balestier is quite a good location, 10mins to Orchard by taxi & lots of food surrounding.

Hello,
We are going to Singapore tomorrow. We are wondering if we should take train from airport to hotel (Fragrance Rose , Balestier road) or should we take taxi from airport. Could you advise us. There are 4 of us with light baggage. Is there a taxi stand in Novana MRT station.

We found taxis the way to go in getting around Singapore. Very convenient and cheap to.

since there are 4 of you, you could just take the cab. yes there is a taxi stand right in front of novena square.

Hotel 81 is a chain of cheaper hotels that has tried to upgrade its image in the last couple of years. A friend stayed in the Bugis hotel and found it to be okay. Can't tell you much more though. Approx S100 per night.

hi, regarding cheap hotel rooms, you can check fragrance hotel rose at balestier road, it's quite cheap there , i think it's around SGD$ 70 more or less......
